It could be that you've packed the coil too tight with cotton but we would need some more info:

1) Coil(s) resistance.
2) Wicking method and materials.
3) Equipment that you are using.

But on the whole yes you will need to re-drip fairly often.

I'm currently using the Shiseido pads and I'm at 1.1 ohms. It's a trident rda on a Nemesis mod using 18650 mah efest battery.
Yes that's what I thought.. I find I have to put it down and take a few minutes in between hits to not have to drip every two hits.

I can get 20-30 hits no problem before re-dripping.

Single or dual coil? In single coil mode, I use 15 watts, approximately what you've got. I leave long-ish tails, from the coil to the opposite wall, thinned down significantly the further from the coil they are. I am using rayon.

It's hard to see in the pic, but those wicks are swimming.

I used to drip gingerly, but just decided to go for it one day. I swear this little thing holds more than my magma!

I can't figure out what an REO is.. *embarrassed

No worries. :)

It's a mod with a hole in the bottom of the atomizer (called a bottom fed atty), with a 6ml bottle of juice and battery in it. It performs just like a dripper and when you need more juice, you squeeze the bottle. The juice goes up through a tube then the hole in the atty and wets your wicks. All the fun of dripping with none of the hassle.

They are amazing little devices. Only problem is you have to buy bottom feed ready RDA's. The REOmizer 2 is a very popular one. There is somebody on the forums who does custom bottom feed mods. I know Angelcigs has a Zenith v3 which is bottom feed ready. If you look into getting a new mod this is one to look at. Only thing is you need to know a lot more about battery safety (if you don't know about mech mods, shorts, etc) because this is a MECHANICAL mod. No regulating, only safety is the hot spring I believe.

If you're interested, stop in the REO forum here at ECF, do some reading and ask any questions you like - lots of very helpful folks there:

The next mod I was going to get was the Vapor Shark DNA 30, but this is now at the top of my list. I will definitely do more research on battery safety before purchasing of course!
