Considering I have always wanted the high end mech's and being unable to purchase them because they are always OOS, especially a real caravela. I just bought all from fasttech:

chi you clone SS
chi you clone Brass
Nemesis clone
King clone Brass

I also bought to put on top of them:

Igo-l clone
Nimbus clone
Trident clone
Ithaka clone
Smoktech RSST

Am I being crazy here? Do I really need all of this? The total came out to like $180 USD free shipping no tax, and that was about the price of my Provari.

I was going to buy another Provari until i read up more about mechs and RBA's since I am tired of buying cartomizers. Therefore I allotted the amount of a brand new Provari for me to spend.

I am new to RBA/RDA, never touched one yet or vaped one for that matter. But i know I will love it way more than carto tanks. Ive read all the tutorials I can and im pretty confident once they come I will know what to do.

Am I making the right decision here or am I jumping in too fast. I still have time to cancel my order since fasttech is on vacation.

So you did your research, and that's good. Be aware though that all of the knowledge in the world doesn't make you a good hockey player. You will have to practice your builds and fail a few times before you get that "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh" moment. You'll know when you get there so don't be discouraged. It took me about 5 or 6 builds before I figured out exactly how to build a good coil on my RSST. Once you do get a good build it will have been money well spent.

I purchased the chi you clone from ft and it is awesome I have the ss $27 unit and I can't really tell the difference to the real one I have and spent $200 for, other than the back round shading in the engraving, my wife liked my chi you, so I bought her the clone lol. Also bought the aios in a group buy for it and it's amazing and now ft had that for like $19 lol gonna grab another guess.

And to think, many of us quit smoking because it was cost prohibitive! LoL!

We could all make fun and call you crazy, but that would make us all hypocrites!

I've had my fair share of fun with Mechs/RBA/RDA's, and prefer the easy way out now... I guess once I was able to prove to myself that I could make it work, the novelty wore off. Now it's back to VV/VW mods and ProTanks and Cartos...

I will say, my favorite RBA was the Odysseus, which I think the Ithaka is close to as far as how it works. That had the best flavor (IMO) of all the tank style RBA's I tried. I never really cared for the Genesis style RBA's with the SS wicks and sub ohm coils... It made a lot of vapor, but I never liked the flavor. Lots of folks swear by it, but I just never liked it.

My 2 cents :)

Good luck with everything! :) It's actually a lot of fun, and you learn a lot about vaping in the process!
