I just bought this:
5 volt center red button box mod

Thus far I have only vaped on 808 batts and use 808 cartos.

What am I going to need to get this thing going? Will I need batteries? What kind? Where does the juice go? The only thing I'm sure about is that I'll have to buy 510 cartos or a 510 to 808 adapter.

Help? Please?

You'll need at least a pair and I'd recommend 2 pair of 14500 protected batteries, that way you can alternate when one pair is charging. For batteries I'd recommend AW but Ultrafire is popular and cheaper.

You'll need a charger and there are many to choose from, just make sure it has overcharge protection, most do, I use the Ultrafire WF-188 which can charge many different sizes but there are cheaper models available.

At 5v I would recommend staying at or just below 3ohms for your cartos and attys until you use it for a while. That mod has a 510 connection so anything 510 will work with it, if you want to use 808 cartos you'll need a 510/808 adapter.

The juice goes in your Cartos or Atty, whatever you choose to use with it.

3.7volt 14500 x2 (brand of choice) and charger.

Same place in a cart, carto, atty, tank, ect...

Correct... 510 threading or adapters.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!

I'm a big fan of MadVapes for most of my supplies but VaporAlley - Stroll down the alley for great products has great prices on batteries and a good selection. The batteries that were recommended are a great choice but if your on a budget, the Trustfire "Flame" batteries work well and they're $4.29 each at MV.

Agreed. If you cannot afford AW batteries the only ones I consider usable are trustfire flames, or blues in some cases.

I would say stay away from ultrafires. They are known for having low amp output, and will not preform at the same level as other batteries, and you performance on your mod will suffer.
