Will i get a better hit on it coming from my 510 setup driping if i use a carto when on the road? if so what would work good also where can i learn more about lr and sr cartos or attys and how to match them up with the volts (need ecigs for dummys lol )

Hi. Look at this link for a chart that spells volts/resistance: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...el-power-worksheet-voltage-vs-resistance.html . Most folks find their "sweet spot" between 8-10 watts (power)

As to whether or not VV is the way to go, the answer for your questions is yes. You gain a much wider range of vaping fine tuning when you can tweak the power you're pushing for the juice/atty/carto setup you're using. Make sure what ever you choose it's using a 510 connector and then you have access to the majority of accessories offered toady.

If you're looking for advice on which device, IMHO the Provari does everything. I drip, use cartos (and DCT Tanks), Vision Stardusts depending on where I'm going or doing that day.

Sounds like exactly my setup....only provari for home use and lavatube or mini when I'm out and stardust +1
I'm a total stardust fanboy.

You might consider a feeder. There are several quality vari-volt feeders on the market and another highly anticipated vv feeder coming soon from REO. Hog, Monkeyy, RedSky, and Boggers are all nice wood bottom feeders (there are a few others, but that's what comes off the top of my head). The VV REO Woodville will be out probably this month. And there is the notcigs VVPV which is an all metal vari-volt top feeder (I have one - it's incredible). Sometime in the not-too-distant future, there will be an all-metal VV REO Grand too.

Since you like to drip, I really think you'd be happy with a feeder. All the pleasure of dripping but none of the mess or hassle.

Hey Six, ive been interested in trying a feeder. Whats a good cheapy to dip my toe in the water? The reo's look great but a little pricey right out of the gate.

Do you just use a 306 atty with a feeder or do you need something special?

Max and cloud, is there something special you have to do to get a stardust producing good flavor? I bought one to try and ive gone through almost half the tank and it just doesnt taste right.

I've been following the recommended "break-in" (e.g. run first full tank-full at 3.7v) and then adjusting voltage to match juice and resistance (have both the LR ~2.2ohm and SR ~2.7ohm). Both have worked really well for me. Other than that, I rinse them between different flavors and clean them occasionally with Vodka and a dry-burn.

kinda sucks to have to burn 1.5ml's to get it working. I wonder if the vg/pg mixture maters. I'm running 60/40

To clamman, the best thing about vv mods is the ability to really dial in the voltage to get the best taste out of your juice. I mostly vape kick bass vapor on single coil cartomizers and the best flavor for each of their juices is different. I will never go back to non variable voltage devices.

Least expensive Wood Feeder (not a VV) is the bogger box. It's around eighty bucks. The Vapage V-Mod is a plastic feeder in an aluminum shell and is around 75 (I'm not really fond of its feed system, but it's a pretty good mod). There are probably still a couple of sub-$50 plastic box bottom feeders, but now that old goat quit making them, I'm not sure what to recommend.

And yes. For a non-VV feeder, I use 1.8 ohm 306, 1.8 ohm 510 attys, and 1.8 ohm boge cartos. I like any of those on a 3.7v feeder.

thanks all on the help ok im looking at the buzpro n provari any others to look at? and how is the buzpro 2

The buzzpro II is the same thing as the buzzpro but it has a redesigned tube to satisfy ECFs requirements with big slots in the sides of the tube. It's a little more expensive because the machine shop notcigs uses charges them more for the extra machining to cut the slots.

If you're only interested in tube mods, the other high end VV tubes are the sabertouch and the diamante.
