From the moment I vaped my first draw on an ecig I never touched another analog. Until just now.

Been smoke free for just over a month. Had a shipping issue with my "go to" ejuice (menthol) and for the past week have had to vape some Mint I ordered 2 weeks ago, and didn't care for the taste of that ejuice at all. Was out and about shopping, really missing that lung hit that menthol gives (my order won't be here till Friday). And, I started craving a cig. Thought, Oh, it's just a weird moment, will go away soon. But, after an hour of the cigarette crave persisting, I broke down and bought a pack of my old favorite, Marlboro Blue.

Stepped outside of the 7-Eleven and lit up. Three to four puffs later I was completely unimpressed. Not that it tasted that bad, I did notice the yuk "burntness" of the smoke right away. Rather, the lung hit I get from vaping was non-existent! There was zero flavor. And, I don't mean eJuice flavor. More, the menthol was flat and tasteless compared to my go to eJuice menthol. I dropped the thing to the ground, smooshed it out with my shoe, picked it up and tossed the nasty thing in the dumpster with the 19 other death sticks in the pack.

Once I bought the pack I actually looked forward, with great anticipation, to that feeling you get from smoking a cigarette after not having one for an extended period of time - a month in this case. Nothing. Zilch.

Now I KNOW why vaping works. It is a BETTER experience than smoking. Well, I've passed the point of no return on this. It's vaping or nothing. LOL! I went back to my car, took out my Pig Cig, put in a freshly filled cartomizer and vaped away. Mint and all. Relishing every puff. One other interesting part of the cig falter. It felt so small and useless. Too short, too light. No button to push. No glowing LED. Just a little thing in my hand. Weird.

Vape it or Smoosh it, I say!:2cool:

if you only vape menthol, look into making it yourself. there is a DIY section here with lots of good info including links to where to buy your supplies from and juice calculators to get your mix correct. im a big menthol fan and will be ordering everything i need to make my own next week. vaping has taken its toll on my bank account over the last 2 weeks. LOL.

Yes this. I actually make it a point to bum a smoke every few months, just to remind myself how bad it tastes, how much it stinks, how it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth, and honestly how unsatisfying it really is. I do this especially when I get it in my head that vaping is getting boring or tasteless for me.

Same thing happened to me. I started vaping 2 1/2 months ago. I kept a pack of Newports in my car. The first couple of weeks I smoked some. After a month, I tried one, it tasted awful, so I threw it out. A few days ago I tried another one; I took one puff. It tasted so bad! Vaping tastes SO GOOD! I finally just threw the pack out.

Myself included. Hit an analog a while back just outta curiosity. That was the last hit too. I thought it would be like coming home and it was such a let down. Just quit everything, vaping included, about 3 weeks ago. Would not have been able to do it without eigs and this forum, though.

I know many have done that very same thing with exactly the same results. Good for you! :)

You're my hero. Want to be like you when I "grow up"! : )

I reduced my nic 24mg to 16mg on my current order. I want to stop vaping eventually, too.

Thanks!

Yep. I started with disposables and had to smoke analogs along with 'em. The disp's just didn't have the throat hit I needed with the exception of the CIG2O (OTC 808 reusable but not enough vapor).
My last pack, bought over a month ago, still has 14 in it. It sits right next to me in the truck. I literally flip it the bird every time I see it and laugh maniacally right before vapin on my PV...
The first step in admitting you have a problem is to have a problem. Mine was the stink and wheezing myself to sleep at night. My SO and GF love the fact I'm not stinkin' any more and I do too.
