For small format cigalikes that you can refil and replace parts on, I really, really love my joyetech eroll/Ovale emini.

For absolutely no fuss and emergency backups, I really like whitecloud fling minis.

There are a lot of popular options in between.

Everyone has a favorite nicotine delivery system around here. That's an amazing part of vaping, but it also can make finding your personal sweet spot difficult.

No matter what route you go, good luck!

If they work for you, then great. That's what's important. I started with V2's, then ego's, found this site and caught a clue, bought a Provari, started rebuildable atomizers, rba's, then DIY juice. Recently got into Mechanical mods and high end rba's. Take a good look at was is available for vape. But fair warning, you might get to the point where you can't help yourself and see something that you just got to have. lmao

Welcome to the forum, have fun a the road to vape.

I think the Blu ones use cartomizers but these are atomizers...
I'm curious now, so I'm looking around a bit...

So Blu uses cartomizers now?
I think they used to use atomizers similar to the ones described on that website.

The fact that the atomizers on that website have foil that needs to "puncture the sealed flavor cartridge" sounds like Blu to me.

Maybe this is a kit with 510 batteries and old-style Blu atomizers?

As far as I know, but I have not done exhaustive research on it, Blu has always used cartomizers. At least as far back as early 2012 when I first looked into e-cigs.

400mAh...I vaped on these HARD for 4-6 hours...1ml atomizer w/ tank...worked VERY good, just a little bit bigger than a standard cigalike a bit longer too
Only thing is...have to remove the plastic ring on the cigalike charger to charge these

I contacted the people at Simplcig.com about the battery. You guys were right. Typo - 180mAh is what they are. I don't know what that means but it was way off!

They said they fixed it on the page.

That is what I thought. How they mixed up "180" with "1950" does not smell good to me. Regardless, this is your typical "bottom of the barrel" kit which was "state of the art" back in 2007. It is no better than Blu or Fin or Greensmoke which are not worth the money for what they deliver.

I just called the company as well, and they said someone else had pointed that out. It is now corrected on their website (after I refreshed with F5)

So, the Personal Charging Case has 1950mAh, and each battery has 190mAh. Also, you have to charge the bats in the PPC case, one at a time, but you can charge them as you are charging the case. This sounds like a rebranded Blu setup, save for the atomizer separate from the cartridge.

To the OP, Jeffro007. First, if it works for you and you are happy with it, then vape on, brother. Bottom line, it doesn't matter much if you have the latest/greatest micro mini device, or some one pound box mod that could survive reentry. If it keeps you off of the poison cigs, all the power to ya!! :vapor:

(And I'm glad to see so many other posters with that same important point!!)

Second, "one time investment". I have to smile at that, as many of us have each made multiple "one time investments" lol. The important thing here, we are investing in our health and longer lives!!! AND STILL CHEAPER THAN ANALOGS.

Third, your original question was "Has anyone else tried these? I think they are new..." I haven't, but have experience with the general PPC system. The USA reseller is new, selling these kits from China. But the product is old technology, IMHO.

Please follow up with your experiences with the kit after a week or so. Again, Vape on, bro!!

I bought five of these a few months ago. One died but I use them when I paddle so it could have got wet. In my case I ground down the outside of threads to make them fit my charger but they must sell a charger for it. Otherwise I like them better than the joy 510's.

Many of the people looking at things like alternatives to Blu, 306's, and so on are going to find those too be too big.

I finally found a 9.2mm battery that I can live with. I just wish it was a little shorter, at 66mm long it will work but would have been happier if it was 55mm.

Yep, I did some research before I bought the Simplcig.com kit. It is similar to the old unit from 2007. The differences that make all the difference in the world to me are:

1. The old units you speak of have a cartridge with some unknown foam stuff in them and they are not sealed. The old style is far inferior and they even evaporated over time. These new ones are tank type and are sealed.

2. The old ones did not have an atomizer. The new ones have an atomizer. They puncture the seal on the cartridge.

3. The old ones had terrible charging issues since they did not have a PCC charging case. The old ones used a proprietary charging cord. These use standard USB stuff. The batteries are smaller, but that doesn't matter since you can swap the two batteries back and forth all day with the PCC.

For what I am looking for these are the best alternative to the Blu. No one I have talked to like the taste of the Blu either. These taste much, much better.

If anyone is looking for a cig alike unit I think this one is worth a look! Simplcig.com

I do agree and appreciate you guys that say that whatever unit works for you and helps you get off the cancer sticks is great!! :)

I also found the info on their web page from WebMD on nicotine: Nicotine and Cancer: Are You Among Misinformed?

With all of that said, knowing me, I will probably venture into the bigger tank models as well soon. I do see a great value in the cig alikes for vaping in public though. I think that there will be a market for both styles for a long time! ;)
