I don't understand a bit of how you did this Stormy. I've never modded anything before, but I do want a 6 volt passthrough.

Digi-Key - T378-P5P-ND (Manufacturer - EMS060300-P5P-SZ)

this transformer would work wonderfully as a power supply for you 6v passthru, you would just have to locate a usb female connector and make simple connections.

I'm a flub-a-dub when it comes to understanding this stuff. Probably cause I don't have the interest that you modders have in doing it.

I think I just want to buy a nice 6 volt passthrough.

We have all these high-end 6 volt PVs but no one seems to be making 6 volt passthroughs for sale.

That's because the passthrough only takes what the power supply gives it. To get 6v, you either need a 6v battery pack or a wall wart.
