I believe these screws are T5 Torx screws.

Simple Solution for eLeaf iStick Center Post Recession Issue | E-Cigarette Forum

This thread talks about a different issue but large pics show screws my istick 50w right now has different screw positions but they look like same exact screws depicted in photos. I also saw someone else say they are T5 Torx. What istick you have? 510? Tube? Box?

I think one of these screws would probably fit but NOT 100% positive.

There are different lengths for T5 torx. I think these are 1.2mm x 3.1mm and are cheap enough at $1.99 and free shipping to take the chance.

I hope someone can verify for you

First option:
Just call Eleaf USA and ask if you can purchase a half dozen Torque screws for your model along with a Torx key. If No,
Second option:
find out from Eleaf USA:
1. Screw head outside diameter in metric and or inches.
2. Screw thread specification in metric and or inches.
3. Length of screw in metric and or inches.

With this info, go to a Machine Shop supply or a Fastener supply and purchase the above.
3rd option:
Take whole Eleaf istick 30/50 to above supply store(s) and see if they will help you. It helps to know what your talking about when you walk in to a Machine/fastener supply.
Just hit like if this helps.

I have a clone of iStick, so it could be a bit different, but my uses thread forming screw. You just need to find a screw (in Home Depot or other suggested places) of the same size (or slightly thicker). Head does not matter, there is no need to ask only for torx screw, any head will do (philips, for example).

Thank you so much. I'll try.

I have the 30W but I'll look into that. Thank you for the suggestion.

Sorry...

Still trying to figure this site out. My bad.

I've been here for years and JUST realized you can "like" posts. I never noticed that.

I don't have a facebook account where i think "like"ing a post is common. Most of the forums I use don't have that feature.

EDIT: Wow. I feel like an ungrateful idiot. I just looked in to my account details and it shows like received and likes given.

Good post Alien Traveler. Maybe a minor point but, should read?:
"If screw head protrudes out from top of chrome plate, (ie is not flush with chrome plate and not an issue for you)then"
Head does not matter, there is no need to ask only for torx screw, any head will do (philips, for example). Yes, since the hole is already tapped via a Torx, a philips/slotted head would be my choice. You do not need the Torx stability feature in an all ready tapped reinsertion. The above is assuming that the Torx thread profile is a tapping screw profile and not a machine screw thread.

If head protrusion above the chrome hold down plate (escutcheon) is an issue, then just make sure screw head diameter is equal or slightly smaller than the remaining torq head screw and will fit flush with the chrome escutcheon.

If you are lost, just print a copy of this discussion along with your istick and take it to a machine/fastener supply and have them read it. They might even install the require fastener it for you.

i thought the swap thread had taken on a totally new lease of life when i read the title of this.

T

Thanks for the laugh!!

Guy walks into a car dealership and says, " I need to get a muffler and a fan belt for my Yugo."
Salesman says, "Sounds like a fair trade." :?:

Seriously though, the best place to find tiny metric screws is a hobby shop that deals with R/C cars and airplanes. They tend to be nice people and they'll probably help you out.
Best of luck to you.
