After talking with the Fire Chief at the end of the day, it was sorta determined that part of the reason for the issue was the fact that the building's A/C systems are not running right now. So, no moving air, dense vapor (from an amazing Fogger V4, I might add), added up to a cloud hovering around the ceiling and not dispersing.

I have been "advised" to limit my vapor production, but not specifically told no as of this time. So, a sorta win-win. The FD now knows I am a trouble-maker , and my bosses have a freaking AMAZING sense of humor!!

Very happy to read this! vape On!!!!

That's what I was thinking Hahahaha!

Maybe just use a spare with a weaker builds for little hits. Cloud chasing in the cubicle may not be the best way to go about it

That's just it, though, I really wasn't. I always take smaller hits, exhale down under my desk. Even my office mate said when the alarm went off and she looked over at my cube she couldn't see any "clouds out of the ordinary". I really do think it had to do with the A/C system being off and we really have no airflow in our office (inner room, no windows, used to be a server room, so tight as a drum).

EDIT: Plus the fact that I have been doing this for the last seven months with no issues. We just happen to be in that short period here in the desert where temps are actually pretty mild, no real need for either heat or A/C. Plus the government is pretty cheap when it comes to comfort. :p

Strange. Wonder how it set off the alarm ? They're only for carbon mono/di- oxide and stuff isn't it?

No, my office has the whole shebang. We don't have sprinklers, we have an FM200 system, due to the large number of computers. Also, the building used to house what might as well be described as a server farm, for processing simulation data for training soldiers.

With the vent system off there should have been very little to actually kick the clouds up. Vapor has a tendency to fall and unless as aforementioned are blowing big plumes straight in the air nothing should have gathered to an appreciable level near the ceiling. Very interesting to say the least.

Let's just say my future may not be looking too bright. Vaping this morning (PDT zone) and set off detectors in my office, which triggered the entire building.:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm: First issue in 7 months of doing it in the office (+1 day).

I think the only thing that may save my :censored: is that up to this point there have been no actual rules on restricting vaping to outdoors only. I am going to assume there will be some put out very shortly. Although the firemen were really cool about it, not sure upsetting the schedule of a 2-Star, 2 Full Birds, and a boatload of GS's is going to be looked on with a favorable light.

Although I guess there is a good thing to having a skill-set that is hard to replace in the middle of nowhere.

You wouldn't believe how adrenaline charged I am right now......

LOL..... too funny!

bring in a small fan to help with the clouds :)

This is what I was going to suggest.

Its what I do at work. I'm now allowed to vape (again.. They banned me from it for a little while until I slowly educated them over the course of a few months. Now they like the smell lol.) at work, and I use the fan to disperse the vapor. I have it turned away from me and just blow it into the back of the fan. It almost immediately dissipates.
