This is killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not being able to just grab and vape anymore!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep looking at it, and it is just sitting there, torturing me; looking sooo damn sexy with that fogger v4 filled with VCV Vanilla Custard on top of a V3 flip. :p If I knew for sure the bathroom was un-fire-alarm-sensored, I'd go voop, but now I'm "gun-shy".

Still nothing has "come down the pipe" as they say. Although I did hear the CG actually thought it was pretty funny. Guess it helps that I was the one on his welcoming committee walking him through his remote access at his quarters on post. And rescued his personal portable drive that he dropped out of his car and then stepped on before realizing he had dropped it. :p

Could you leave the building for a quick vape? You certainly do not want to set off the alarm twice in one day!

I have been, it just sucks. I was so getting used to not having to go outside anymore. Especially with our 50mph+ breezes we are currently getting. Nothing sucks more than opening your mouth and getting sand-blasted.

Here is my Flip:

And I will say I love the Flip, with only one, extremely minor caveat: the threading on the firing button, attaching it to the bottom sizing tube is a little loose. There have been a few instances of turning it to unlock, and it loosens the entire button. Just have to "give it a quick tug" (nothing Freudian there, I swear) to tighten back up.

I was vaping in a critical care unit my wife was in with no problem. Just take a lower wattage vape stick and hold the vape in for 10 seconds and very little vapour comes out. When I exhaled I blew it down inside my shirt. Even had nurses and doctors in the room and they never even turned their heads to look.

Smoke detectors in office building are prone to fail due to accumulated dust and other factors. Just because the alarm points to a detector in the vicinity of your desk (little blinking red light) doesn't mean that you actually set it off. (Even though you probably did.) :)

In light of that, it's still best that you fessed up and you're to be congratulated for that.

lmao the miss went nuts there at me as I just had to see if I could set the house alarms off and it does lol. I couldnt get it to stop for a mintue, 50/50 banana custard juice and 5 decent vapes blown directly towards it done the trick lol :):):):)

I was just about to do the same thing!

if this were another forum... almost any other forum... where maturity levels are a little - err - different... there'd be a sig line in there somewhere.

this thread delivers. thanks. hope everything "coming down the pipe" "works out" well for you over all "in the end".

After talking with the Fire Chief at the end of the day, it was sorta determined that part of the reason for the issue was the fact that the building's A/C systems are not running right now. So, no moving air, dense vapor (from an amazing Fogger V4, I might add), added up to a cloud hovering around the ceiling and not dispersing.

I have been "advised" to limit my vapor production, but not specifically told no as of this time. So, a sorta win-win. The FD now knows I am a trouble-maker , and my bosses have a freaking AMAZING sense of humor!!

that's great! the best overall result. I'm glad to hear you are in government building that has people leading it, than can think and make decisions based on facts.

Are you actually sure it was your vape that set off the alarm? It could have just been a coincidence... I don't think smoke detectors pick up on vapor, or every one of them would go off when ever you boil a pot of pasta. Or have a steaming cup of coffee near by.

And this is one of the major issues us "vapers" are still contending with. It is NOT water vapor. Unless your juice is diluted with excessive amounts of distilled water, you are not putting out water vapor, you are putting out a vapor of PG/VG, which has a different consistency and chemical composition than water vapor. Pretty much the entire reason the whole "cloud chasing" culture has come up. No amount of water vapor would be as visually or physically satisfying as PG/VG vapor.

So, yes, I am about as certain as possible that it was my vapor that caused the issue, as it was the sensor nearest my cube that tripped. Also, a previous posted stated he triggered his detector with about 5 puffs. I suggest you try it yourself and see.
