I just want a good flavor

I had a tank from Fireluke Mesh and it was really good. The coils were inconsistent though so I got a drop rda. I want the flavor where I can taste it on my lips. I cant seem to get that flavor with any builds. I dont know if it is the coils, the way I am putting the cotton in, or what, but I am spending a lot of money on this stuff and still not getting the results I want.

Here is a picture of the build, can you guys make any suggestions? The flavor is OK at best. This is a dead rabbit RDA. My drop broke.

I had a dead rabbit SQ and the flavour was muted, also tried the Goon 1.5 wasn't happy with it either. Threw them in the trash sadly I since moved on to low profile single coil build rda like the Hadaly, Hakku Venna, and Recurve RDAs. Flavour for days Using Temp Control Stainless Steel Coil. 22Gauge 520deg F. Now I'm on the hunt for more single coil low profile rda's to add to my collection

I literally fired my fireluke mesh back up and the flavor tops the dripper by 75% I never thought I could get better flavor out of a dang tank.

I've had the experience where a tank gives some kickin' flavor compared to some RDAs.

Pretty sure for me it came at the cost of juice consumption, the tank sucked down juice very quickly. But a rich dense vape and flavor to match.

Yeah I guess I am spoiled because my fireluke mesh and my previous fireluke were bomb. Like, I feel like the juice is in my mouth. That’s how strong the flavor is. The reason I wanted to get an rda though was because the coils aren’t always good.

Oh really? I just use whatever cotton I can find. Right now some Japanese organic. I put it in there pretty thick because the coil is huge.

yeah!! I would love to find something that tops my fireluke mesh. I may get a falcon soon. Can you please recommend the #1 best RDA for flavor? Single coil sounds like the way to go. I just got a new Pulse mod. The battery life is horrible on it. I think running dual coils has something to do with it, and that gene chip probably doesnt help. But it looks so cool, and it is so lightweight. I am not giving up on this thing!! In the meantime I have a voopoo drag. HAHA I have a voopoo and a pulse.

ha, Voo Poo and a Pulse,nice combo, for me, right now the best flavor dual coil BF attie is the Twistedmesses 24 Pro, single coil Entheon or Narda, The Falcon is supposed to be good, I have settled on the the Fireluke mesh, it will be the first replaceable coil tank for me without an RBA, straight coils!! well not counting the Krixus, and the Tfv4 but I never used that

I get that feeling with the doggystyle tank. No actual eliquid on your lips, I'm gonna assume, just flavor, but I have a feeling that tank is far more MTL than you are going to want.

Rayon. Also with wicking, less is sometimes more. Also, I've never tried mesh so I don't know what I might be missing in all fairness.

1. Round wire builds suck. Get some fused claptons. Like 28*3/36.

2. Get a good RDA that doesn't need long wicks. The Reload, Sherman 25, MadDog, Goon, Apocalypse Gen2, DejaVu or TM 24 Pro are very good choices.

3. Get some decent cotton. For me Japanese Puff organic cotton pads work
best. Put it in tight without deforming the coil, with the tails barely touching the deck.

4. Adjust the airflow and crank up the wattage till you get the vape you want.

I suggest rayon for wicking as well. It is a superior product. Just does a better job getting the juice where it needs to be and tastes cleaner. That is to say it has no taste whatsoever.

Coil positioning with the DR is critical. Can not tell from photo but it looks as though coils are positioned directly over the posts. I get excellent flavor from my DR by moving the coils out towards air flow slots. Need to leave the legs a bit longer to move them out after I secure the coils in. I really like my DR.

The best RDA for flavor I have came across so far is the gas mods gr1. Next on my list for flavor is nudge, and then the entheon. All of these are single coil with slightly restricted direct to lung airflow (nudge does have an airy and restricted top cap included, and the gr1 has different airflow attachments included to restrict or open up the airflow to your liking). If you want more open airflow the wasp nano is hard to beat, and I hear the recurve is great in the flavor department.
