Well it is getting frustating for me just to enjoy vapeing. I seem to keep spending more money and time trying to find the best way to vape at all, do not get me wrong I understand e-cigs are still kinda of new and many bugs need to be worked out, but I have a Joye ego and the battery works great but the carts are a pain to fill even with the blue foam, I have tested just cutting the white filler small and no luck with that, then we have the attys getting burnt taste after a week or just not working hardly at all, went to the LR atty same problems with the carts, so I move to the cartos I tryed the regular 510 guess what to much air really no vapor, so I move to the next step LR Cartos my first pack every one I tried had a burnt taste, know I am looking at the E2 v4 cartos and I just do not think I have it in me to even go there. I just want to set back and vape and not worry about how to fill it or some mod. I am not going to give up and the e-cigs has helped me so much from regular cigs but it would just be nice to vape without a fight.

Have you tried dripping?
I gave up on carts a few months back. Too much fiddling and topping off the carts.
Take off the cart and remove the filler. Drip 2-3 drops of e-liquid directly onto your 510/901/801 atomizer and put the empty cart back on and take a few vapes. Repeat as the vapor slows or the flavor diminishes. Not as cumbersome as topping off and you know what to expect. You can purchase a drip tip for a few dollars and not fuss with removing the cart every time.
Not sure of what e-cig set up you have, but it has worked for me better than anything else!

Not to complicate your life, but you might want to do an experiment and try a different atomizer although you will need a different PV or I assume an adaper ($4) will work on an eGo. I've used the 901, 510 and 801 type attys and cartos. I prefer the 801 type because they have a little higher resistence, much bigger coil and bigger carts and not the burning you get sometimes with 510's. I do use them on a 5 volt PV, however. I think you would be a good person for a variable volt (VV) PV. Using an adapter, you could try different attys at different power levels until you found what worked best for you.

the vapor 4 life blank cartos need a 510- 901/808 adapter .... (probably a typo) but just in case ....

Have you tried the Mega cartomizers? I am still amazed that this thing just works ...

it does leak at times, why I have not quite figured out ... But it actually works every time I pick it up .

I have only been using it for 10 days & It is still PRETTY COOL !

What about some of the higher voltage and/or higher capacity mods with the juice in them? Forget the exact terminology right now. In any case, you just need something more robust.

What? Running to sthe store for cigarettes at 3 am isn't a pain in the ....?
Almost anything is better than cigarettes :)

Just a tip to avoid that burnt carto taste and prolong the life of your cartomizers. Keep them wet. If you make sure to top them off with a few drops every 20 drags or so (YMMV) they'll last longer and you won't get that burnt taste. Still way better than cartridges and less hassle than dripping.

I do like to drip but I am a person who vapes all day and it becomes bothersome to have to stop and drip every 5 mins at work etc...I have some new Boges LR cartos coming and I am hopeing no burnt taste on this batch. I have 510 ego setup.

Hello from Billings!! I guess the world isn't all that big after all:)

I just got some of the Boge LR cartos to use with my eGo in my last order and love them. I vape pretty heavily and can get about 2 hrs out of each refill. Never had the burnt taste, but they can be a little "airy" without using the cone. I've also tried the 510-901 adapter to use with some cartos from V4L on it, but found I was always needing to adjust the air flow to accomodate misshaped threads. I hope the new cartos you have coming in work out for you. And, like it's been suggested, just try to keep them wet. Good luck and happy vaping.

Hmm yes, so many variables when vaping. Hard to always get that consistant hit. First start dripping as those before me have stated. Be aware that more than 3 drops will flood the atty. 2 drops is best till you know what your doing. The burnt taste is probably due to the filler getting burnt. Then use your own judgement for lr,hr or reg atty. Thats going to dpend on what voltage your using. Also remember that all atty will burn out, but a good one should last @ a week of heavy vaping. I like the 801 atty personally. At about 5v the 801 produces thick flavorfull vapor, and they atty will last about a week. like you, most of us have been through the frustration of wanting that good vape, and it is a struggle. Good luck and good vapes.

Definitely agree with 801 on a good 5 volt mod. I personally prefer the BE112 (801) since I drip. I also agree that no atty lasts that long. I also like 801 cartos.
