I've found that a lot of MBV flavors (in general) need to have their caps off for a day or two to get rid of that perfumey aroma.

I might be weird, well I am weird, but I have not found a juice that I didn't like and then liked after steeping. Yes flavors develop and change slightly, but I just haven't found a juice that changed that much that I started to like it after not liking it when I first tried it.

I think it may be the day they were purchased?

Anyway, I never imagined they would change that much. I've just received mine in the mail today and have already tried out two of them. I'll let the rest steep and see if the flavor changes. :)

Yeah those would be born on dates. The older it is the darker it gets.

lol. What's funny....If I had done it, I would have taken a picture OF THE SAME BOTTLE over time...and thus it would have had either the same juice level or went lower over time if I used some. That pic, starts low and moves to "full" while becoming lighter...thus...must be 3 different bottles of juice.

Of course they're "born on dates". lol. It was just a "funny". A joke. Calendars don't go backward. nm......

The real point is in a following post....nic base darkens too.

:)

Steeping is letting a closed bottle reach maximum dispersion, mix, or entropy.

Breathe or airing out is letting it sit with an open cap. This will allow some aromatic compounds to escape, evaporate alcohol, oxidize the nicotine, and/or allow the PG/VG to pull water into it from the atmosphere.

There it is. Succinct and well said. Finally.

Personally, I really enjoy MBV juices. However, they need some serious steeping in my opinion before they stop tasting like perfume, haha! MBV is a great site to order from and again, I really enjoy some of their tobacco flavors. However, usually I give them at least two weeks to steep before I try them. I don't do anything fancy. Leave them with no cap on for a week or so, shaking them every so often. Then put the caps on and shake them.

the other thing I do is shake them up before I use them. Then I shake up the cartomizer after I fill it with them. Hey, they might just take time to steep, but now I have a system!

I have read so many different ways of steeping. shake hard, give a hot bath, open up and leave in a cool dark place, leave closed in a cool dark place i just dont know what to do! and how do u know if it needs to be steeped or do all need a little time?
the ones im talking about are from MBV
Grahm Cracker
Hawk Sauce
Vanilla Cup Cake
Hot Chocolate
Monster
Cotton Candy
and the free one is Black Clove
If u have tried any of these and could help me out about steeping them that would be great....

I got my first bottle of Hawk sauce today... loving it right out of the mail.. if it gets better with steeping like others have commented than wow. I'd try it now and let the others steep
