No video here and maybe not any music you'd like but......
Tuesday night on American Idol when they did the Sinatra songs, wow, just wow. That was good music back then. I don't mean the Idol performers necessarily but the tunes. And I can't forget to mention Harry Connick, Jr. Love that guy.
Hard to believe those are the same guys from at the drive in..I've loved that song for years, Mars Volta is a pretty good band, and I'm not into much of the Indie/Emo music, but these guys are amazing. Never seen the video before though, thanks for sharing.

Melanie: The Nickel Song
Brand New Key ... Melanie's largest commercial success, and absolutely atypical of her music. Although, in interviews she says she likes the song, and that it was largely misunderstood by the public. I get that.No roller skates?
Wasn't the Nickel song covered by Connie Francis? I don't recall, except that the version I remember hearing wasn't sung by Melanie.
ETA: Nope, it was Teresa Brewer
No, the Nickel Song is owned by Melanie. She wrote the song, and she had the sole Top 40 version of it. It also charted by the New Seekers, but only peaked at #81 in their version. No version from Teresa Brewer nor Connie Francis ever entered the Hot 100. It's Melanie's song.
