I know it's pro"very" but I say Pro"vari" like ferrari. It seems more appropriate.

I can't get over how much I love the "vape like a Sir" phrase. It just tickles me to death. wish i had come up with the idea myself.

Right! My vaping buddy and I say it all the time at work. I'm going to get me one of them thar drip tips. Or maybe I'll find an old wig and make one...

This makes sense to me, but I still prefer the Ferrari pronunciation.
Also, for other vape-ware I prefer:
V-V for ViVi
Bohj for Boge

Oh and as a semi-related side note to all you music/ synthesizer fans, did you know Moog is supposed to be pronounced as Mogue (as in vogue)? The more you know.
That picture is priceless, lol.
ProVari, like variable, in variable voltage.
But then I guess it would come down to how you pronounce variable.
Ferrariable?

You know... ever since i ditched the eGo's and moved to mods... I get THAT exact question more than any other...

not "What is that?", not "Is that an eCig", not "Is that (sometimes medical smokeable not talked about here)?"..

They ask "Is that a hookah?"

Which, confuses the hell out of me... I means, a Hookah isn't really pocketable... and looks nothing like this:

:?:
that is ALL i get and i am using an eGo and a vivi (vee-vee)
"oh so it's a holka thing? hoolka? hoka? hacka?"
"not really...hookah is flavored tobacco that is burning....this is not tobacco and there is no fire, it is vapor..like steam"
"so it's not halcka then?"
"no"
"oh it looks like a hoolka thing"

This is a great thread... And I just had to throw my :2c: in the mix. My son, now 16 used to drive me crazy asking me over and over...

"Petsmart"

Is it Pets Mart or Pet Smart? LOL!

Good question, if you think about it.

ugh thanks a lot! since you made me think about it...it is BOTH! huuuzaaah!

I believe the greek root of "Prov" directly translates to "inspire awe" and the root for "Ari" translates as "Above all or God-like", early iterations of the term were used to refer to kings whom had conquered all without hesitation or mercy. Aptly named. :) Looking at my own collection of PVs the Pro"Vargghhhy" (Aye matey) stands among a pile of slain chinese knock offs and other uninformed newbie purchases.
