My atomizer in my Prado(atomizer looks very similar to a joye 510) died..Would barely...and I mean barely...work..If I took 10 long puffs maybe I might see a tiny bit of vapor and maybe I wouldn't..Either way it was basically dead...happened overnight.
I soaked it in isopropyl 71% for about 20 mins..Dried it out and no change..Nothing..just as dead as ever..I threw it in a drawer and was ready to throw it out..Prado wanted $30 for a new atomizer..lol..THIEVES.I got the kit free..when it dies it goes in the garbage
THEN I ran across a message somewhere that suggested coca cola(Coke) for 2.5 hours then grain alcohol 151 or better(I used iospropyl 71%) for 2.5 hours then hot water for 10 minutes then back in the isopropyl for 5 minutes.
I put each of the fluids in empty arrowhead waters bottle about 1/4 of the way full..And about every 20-25 minutes (with cap securely on) shook the bottle lightly, swooshing the atomizer around for a a few seconds.
after all that...5 hours..I took it out and gently blew it dry as best I could then set it in front..right in front..of a little fan blown space heater for 25 minutes..A hair dryer would probably work as good or better..
I filled a cart and put it on the atomizer and let it sit for 10 minutes..I took the cart off and topped it off and replaced the atomizer..put on the battery and it is like a brand new atomizer..
I truly thought there was no hope for this..
The good thing is I ordered a joye 510 kit from cignot and Vikki was sooooo nice..she basically held my hand through the process..I'm new to this..and even recommended against something and saved me money(and cost her a sale basically). I ordered In the afternoon and it went out in the afternoon..Awesome..I needed another e-cig and this worked out perfectly..Now i have 3..Well, I will when the kit arrives..
