I'm still new to vaping and just upgraded to VV. Put an aerotank n a nautilus and my juices multiplied in flavor.
I'm guessing you mean that both the Aerotank and nautilus brought out the flavor more? Or the Nautilus more so than the Aerotank. I have an Aerotank (and it's great so far), but I'm already thinking about my next upgrade.

I just started with aeros. Maybe an hour ago. So far nautilus had a better flavor impression.
It was packed with all kinds of flavors I never knew existed in tribeca. Brought gwary4 and 555 to life. Midnight apple tastes awesome. Grappler still sucked. Nautilus Def had more flavor but the preset openings r becoming annoying. One is too tight. 3 is too loose and 2 is not cutting it.
The gradual opening of aero is gonna give me more flexibility I would imagine.
Nautilus with a kanger style opening would be perfect.

That sure is a bummer, I rather like the sliding ring on my Aerotank. I do notice a near total loss of flavor after several hours of vaping, but I think that's just my tastebuds playing tricks on me, rather than a problem with the tank itself. Your description of the enhanced flavors does sound compelling though, and the Nautilus looks quite sleek with its rounded drip and the big glass tank. The Aerotank looks way more industrial in comparison.

I went through three of them cause the wires would break constantly and I don't have a soldering iron. The initial perk for me to buy mechs was the fact I could drop it all day without the actual mod itself breaking.. It would have been a cheaper investment to have bought one a long time ago. And since then I realized how much I like tinkering and experimenting with coils so

I've never had an eGo... I got my first vape from a friend of a friend who wanted to sell an extra VV kit he had on hand. My second vape is a mech mod.

Most of my friends who are trying vaping use the eGo kits, though. The small form factor is attractive to me from a distance, but whenever I tried their gear the flavor seemed lacking. I'm pretty convinced that they're just neglecting to wash their tanks, though, because I recently had a good few hits from another friend's eGo. I'm tempted to buy one of the little 20$ eGo kits from the local shop and give it a try, myself.

I bought an EVOD kit the other day and I feel bad for saying I like it better than the Joyetech ECom-C kit I just bought. If only I had thought to check sooner. I could have had 4 EVOD Kits (Red, Blue, Purple, Pink) for the same price of the ECom-C kit plus extra battery plus 5 atomizers. Ah well. I'm shelling out the cash now because I just like how they feel in my hand and I can pop them in my cleavage if I'm in a hurry! ^_^

All the different kinds have their good points, and maybe not so good points.

I have a couple of iTaste vv3s, and what I like best about them is that they won't roll off of whatever I lay them on, and the really big digits on the screen mean I can see it clearly even without my reading glasses, which is awesome when I'm out in the truck wearing sunglasses. Their battery life isn't too long, just 800 mAh, but I have two, and will be getting a 3rd soon, so not a *huge* deal, especially if I'm just around the house or just out for a short errand.

I have a Sigelei zmax v3 flat-top, which is great because it uses removable batteries, and when you stack 2 18350s in it, I can get nearly 3 days battery life, so that's great for a longer all-day trip. But yeah it's kinda heavy with stacked batteries, so that's kind of a downside, though I personally don't mind it. It's good to use that one with my kayfun glass tank, because the mod itself is so heavy that the fat glass tank doesn't make it top-heavy.

Lately I've just been using my red ARO Winder (which is very much like an eGo Twist), because it matches my red ARO Pyrex, and lately I've just been vaping pineapple, which needs the glass/pyrex -- but that booger is 1100 mAh, so I have no issues with battery life at all. And it's just so danged pretty! Love that deep shiny red, it's gorgeous!

In short, there's all kinds of mods for all kinds of moods -- whatever suits you at any given time, that's the one to use! Not one thing wrong with eGos, especially if they're REAL eGos and not the $10 variety from China or Hong Kong -- I have one of those, and it recently came apart, the collar from the bottom part of the battery. The wires are all still connected, but I now consider that one an 'emergency only, last-ditch' resort, because of the coming-apart business, and I sure won't be buying anymore of those. But $25-$30 mods, even the eGo type, still a very good buy!

I had an $20 ego kit myself and I wouldn't do it if I were you. The batteries were pretty sucky, the clearomizer mediocre and no Variable-Voltage means a drop in vapor production as the battery drops. You'll have a way better time with something like a Vision Spinner II or any other VV stick battery.

Well, off cigs for six days, smoking my eGo, and loving it. However, just found out a new B&M just opened nearby. Maybe I can resist upgrading but most likely I will be drawn to the shiny new toys and the debit card will come out. I will always keep my eGo twist though, for the size and ease of use.

Right on for 6 Days curmudgeon1

Keep Doing what your Doing. As long as your Not Smoking, you're Doing It Right.

Congrats Curmudgeon1! I'm on 5 days myself (the third time trying to quit). The first time I did okay with ecigs, but lowered my nic level too quickly and went back to cigs. 2nd time was through a work program with patches, but that was just no fun at all. This is much better, and I'm going to taper that nic eventually!

A co-worker directed me to a local B&M where I bought my EVOD kit, and I just found 2 more closer to my house, so I know where I'm stopping tomorrow for those other EVOD colors and maybe a Kanger Protank 3 Mini. I love the EVODs, but the atomizer is hard to see through. I want to look at my pretty juice as well! I just wish a local shop would stock the Mini Davide because I want to try that as well.

Can't go wrong with a Protank Mini 3, really. Vapes well and is ridiculously easy to maintain. You may want to replace the drip tip for one with a slightly bigger hole or if you don't like metal in your mouth, but other than that it's an excellent compact. And in case the draw is too airy for you, just slap some clear sticky tape on one of the holes, that's what I did.

I'll have to give that a try, thanks!

I said the same thing: my eGo Twists were serving me fine so I didn't see the need to try anything else for a few months. Then, my curiosity got the better of me and I tried an MVP 2.0. I was still planning to use my eGos. I've had the MVP about a week and a half and I got so used to the heft and feel of the MVP that the eGos feel weird to me now. If you want to try something else just for kicks, an MVP 2.0 might be something to try. You can get an MVP 2.0 for $40-$50 bucks so it's a low risk purchase. Not much more than the eGos, but the battery life and pass through charging is a big plus over the eGos.

In my limited vaping experience, the tank upgrades I have made have made more of a difference to the quality of my vaping than the battery I use.
