No it's not cool, trust me. In the one by me they pretty much ignore you if you have something as slick as a REO (read "that they don't sell) or your not buying anything.
What could a REO owner who rebuilds and vapes unflavored possibly wanna buy from a B&M?
Not a damn thing.
So the two times I went I was completely ignored basically. They are prolly trained to not make a big deal about killer devices like a REO because their marks would gain interest and realize that there is a whole world of vaping outside of the B&M![]()

I complimented everyone on their pretty, shiny mech tubes, and went on my way after they drained me for another $75, like they always do, lol.
Well, it sucks that you got treated that way when yo went. Maybe they were just ignorant and rude though. I don't think all shops are like that though right? I could see not needing to buy anything if you are already set up, but to me it would be nice to socialize a little also with fellow vapers in a "in person" setting. I think that is what I'd like the most about it. As it is for me, the only people I can really talk to about vaping is you fine folks on ECF.

i'd pay good money to be a fly on the wall watching you in a busy B&M getting treated like that, then whipping out your ECF avatar and mentioning "oh, by the way, i came up with the first micro coil"
you could take that gig on the road![]()
Would it look too staged if I show up with each size reo with different coils and some disposable drip tips?![]()
We just recently had our first B&M store open locally. Delaware Vapor. Staff is completely knowlegeable and helpful. They don;t try to push anything on anyone that they don't think they need. They do like to show you the options though. They pulled out an iTaste VTR the other day just to show it off. Not to try to sell it to me because they already know it isn't what I really want. One thing too is even though they have their own juice and juice bar they have tried my ECBlend juices and really like them. We have already worked up a good rapport with the staff.
Where at in Delaware are they? We go down thru Newark and Wilmington on our way to Wildwood.
I have never been to a B&M shop, no need I have my Reo, RM2 and diy my juices. I do know a few new and young vapers who go to a local B&M shop, they always show me their wares. The new and young crowd are definetly cloud chasers, they see the videos on you tube and want to blow monster clouds. They go to local shop and all came back with tube mods, dual coils running .4/.5 ohms and with dual air holes you could walk through. They are all drippers, I'm talking about 10 to 12 vapers. You gotta see the clouds, incredible. Now the kicker, this place sells juice from $17 to $30 for 30ml bottle, yes 2 guys paid $30 for 3o ml of juice. When these guys hit the fire button you can hear that atty sizzle 2 counties away. They all go through juice like they were drinking it. The MONEY is in the juice that their blowing into those huge clouds. The real money is not in the cost of a printer, but its the ink over time that represents the real money. Just like this shop and their juices. Hell I would give away these mods to get the juice business and they would run hotter than a nuclear power plant. I have explained this but these guys want the clouds and are willing to pay for it!!! Amazing. My diy price for a 30 ml bottle of juice is $1.95, $.065 cents per ml. Each to their own.
I think the benefit of experienced vapers is that we should try to steer folks in the right direction, and if we aren't getting out there to talk to folks, we won't make a difference.
