I am some what new to e-cigs. I sent an email to Rob a good while ago asking different questions about e-cigs. It wasn't long after I sent the email that Rob called me. He patiently answered every one of my questions, and he then gave me some recommendations. I ended up getting the Yeti. Three days later it came in the mail. I was very grateful to have the Yeti when I ended up going into the hospital for about month. The nurses were surprised to see me smoking it and had never heard of it. By the time I left the hospital, there were several people who were going to give it a try ;) I used the combination of e-cigs and Chantix to quit smoking. I've been smoke free since Dec 9, 2009. I was smoking three packs a day so quitting for me was a real feat. I couldn't have done it without e-cigs. I recently ordered some more items from Rob. Same great service and fast delivery as before. I wanted to post this in the AltSmoke area but because I've never posted before it wouldn't let me. So Rob, I hope you see this. I think you are wonderful and I will be ordering from you again real soon!

Thx and Take Care, Dawn

Welcome to ECF! I too have ordered from Altsmoke and recieved great customer service and very fast shipping... too bad the juices aren't that tasty (well the ones I tried, at least, orange smoothie and plum).
Thx, and I ordered the Marlboro flavor. I think it's pretty good. I'd like it to be a little bit stronger. I'm using manual batteries atm, but I prefer automatic because it gives me the feel of smoking a cigarette. I wish the bb or the silver bullet were automatic -_-

I'll have to give altsmokes marlboro a try. I was a marb lights man mysel, and have tried a few from different vendors. I really love TW's Marlboro, my favorite tobacco vape so far.

I get what you're saying about automatics... actually drawing through them has a very analog feel. I like both auto and manual, but since I've fallen in love with dripping it's manual only for me. :)

I've been looking into dripping, trying to find out more about it. I'm using AltSmokes Cartomizers atm. I really like them, but the thought of not having to refill as often using the dripping method does appeal to me. Are you saying that you can't drip if you're using an automatic battery? Sorry, I'm still noob to this stuff. I had my husband go to radio shack to pick me up a power pack of some sort for me because I use a passthru but I couldn't even tell him what to get. I've been doing some research and came up with these. (enercell 3-7.5v 2A power supply, enercell wall plug or Kensington power pack, enercell wall mount, 6v 2.5amp version, 6v 2.5amp car adapter) I still don't know what to get. I want to be able to move around with my passthru. Any suggestions?

Right now I think Rob sucks! Bought 2 LR atties from his company only to have both fail in less than 30 min of use. Received then on a Saturday used one for dripping and by afternoon it was dead. I thought; ok may be a defect, I'll use the other. Next one I went to my fathers house to show him--we tried it out for 10 drips or so, and it failed. Called Monday and some girl basically said tough--no warranty, and that was that. I have talked to Rob before about other things, and figured he would stand behind his product. I sent him an email and now its 2-3 weeks later and no reply, so at this point I do not like this company or would recommend them.
Say what you want, but to me this is a bad company to deal with.
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe if he reads this he'll get the message.

Cartomizer's are supposedly the easiest and most hassle free addition to your PV. I've never used one so I can't comment on that, but with dripping, as soon as you taste the flavor diminishing ever so slightly, drip a couple drops... simple as that. With a drip tip it's even easier!

Dripping is allowed with automatic batt's, but not advised. Sometimes when dripping you may over-fill and have some juice run through the airholes on the atomizer and down into the battery connection. If it's an automatic battery that's a big problem because of the air intake hole that goes through the middle. Manual batteries don't have that air intake hole, so they are coined "dripping friendly". A quick wipe of the connections when you over-drip on a manual batt and you're good to go!

I'm not sure about the power pack from radio shack, maybe an expert could chime in.

Hope that helps, and happy vaping! :)

Are you looking for something instead of using the passthru? Some passthru's actually come with a rechargeable battery built in so you could essentially still vape if your power went off.

I think what you are talking about from radio shack is just basic power adapters which wont work as it wouldn't have the connection to you ecig.

You could always go with a power adapter that has a 5v USB power port on it.

If this didn't answer your question, please rephrase as I am a little confused as to what you are asking...

Edit: they also make PCC for certain models to be able to charge on the go...

Three Questions:
-When did you order and what was your order #?
-A Girl answered?
-Are you sure you ordered it from AltSmoke?

The reason I ask is because you said it has been about 2-3 week since you sent an email and you haven't received a response. So that would place it around the 5th-12th when you had your issue. We actually didnt receive our shipment until the 20th and the remaining ones went out the 21st. Also the lady answering the phone confuses me greatly as we don't have any ladies that answer the phones (Not yet anyways, coming soon!! :p)

I'll PM you my response as well :) Not trying to bash or anything just trying to understand the issue a bit better and had a few questions with your post that seem to lead me to believe it may be another company :)

This is the one you want. And you will need the "size N" tip with it (you get one free tip when you buy that enercell in the store. they have the tips in the store too).

What do you mean by "move around with my passthru"? The cord is like 3' long. You're not going to be able to walk around with a passthru.

Mistaken company identification.

I too, just had the same problem. I got 2 LR from NHaler from a recommendation here. I could not find a warranty on their web, nor any information about the product.
If the LR is a HOP-UP then the product page should say that! Mine blew out in one hour...maybe actual "on" time was less then 15 minutes.
Even if this is a hop-up part it should last more than 16 drops of e-juice! I did call them and the girl on the phone basically told me to kick rocks, and probably was my fault. I sent an email to Drew to see if it can be resolved, so we'll see what comes of it.
And To ScottBee before you chime in, I deal with race engines a lot, and really I expect race engines and motors to last past warm up. I'm just sayin :)

By the way Rob. I'm really upset too. I only had my omega BB for 2 days and the switch mechanism stuck. I think these things should last at least a year or two of heavy use. I'd like you to send me another one right away. Hopefully it was just a rare one that slipped through QA during the move.
LOL nice try :)
