Hello guys,

Me the newbie again here

I need some advice guys. I think I`ve spent too much and I wanna place another order.

I have spent a total of approximately 350$ (for 2 persons)

- 2x Evo starter kits with 1 year warranty
- 2x Black evos (assambled - did not buy the starter kits)

- 260ml liquid
- 2 e-cig cases

I know that some of you have spent the way more than me, but for my income that`s a lot spendings on e-cigs (pls do not involve the quit smoking part - i know it`s worth it)

Now I need manual switch e-cigs and I mean it. Otherwise when I go out in a noisy place will not be able to vape (damn automatic switch) and I`ll probably smoke analogs once in a while...

As I`ll be placeing the order from Eastmall I think it will be:

2 510 Kits
1 510 Passthrough
70 ml liquid - still on sale

As I`m looking at the total I`m about to give up! - 165$
that will be more than 500$ and I`ve just stared about 6 weeks ago....8-o:-x

Please help and advise!

The 510's are really top of the line, the only thing I would suggest is to see if you can somehow manage to work a PCC into your budget. It is well worth the expense as 510 batteries are not very long lasting. Without the PCC you will probably have a difficult time getting through a day with just two batteries.

Seriously, before you place an order look into this.

Despite the short battery life the 510 is currently that top PV on the market.

The initial cost is always going to be big with ecigs. Once you have all of your goodies you will find that you only spend money when you need to restock on parts......or you see fancy new gear you want to try.

You have to see the up side though. Cigs cost a lot of money, and in the long run, you end up with smelly cigarette butts. Even after you kill an atomizer or a battery with ecigs, you still have stuff to mod with :D

The initial is always hard. For me not having something in the mail constantly was almost as hard as spending money to build up my ecig army. Have no worries man, if you hate the 401 sell it in classified section here on the forum.

Cheers guys,

But I`m still trying to get over the expenses factor...

I`m not sure if I`ll be able to click on the "Submit order" button LOL:lol:

For the PCC I`m sure I need it! But DY dont have them yet :(

That gives me a thought that for now I can place the order "on hold". After all I`ll miss only the Liquid deal period.... and I`m good stocked with liquid for now..

Oh my .. what to do...

P.s. I love my Evo as a primary device... of course I`ve only tried a few others, have not owned anything else...Just the automatic switch is (#@%@#$%^@#$%^ speechless)

The manual 510 has been my personal favorite for three weeks now. The vape is excellent and the PCC was a dream come true.

However, that may change as I received my Janty Stick earlier today. That thing is kickass!

It seems that I'm immensely enjoying every new e-cig that comes out. I hate to discourage you, but this is an expen$ive hobby. I'll probably be spending more as new products come out and I'm really excited on what the future has in store.

But, yep... The 510 with the PCC is a safe bet.

I have been hearing so much positive about the 510 That I purchased 2 starter kits today for my wife. She uses a 901 and has been happy with it. She doesn't have an interest in a mod, but at 60 days in, she has been experiencing some battery difficulties. So I sprung for the 501 from Widows got to kits so so she will have 4 manual batts and 4 attys plus I got a PCC...............Spent about $130..............Hope it lives up to the hype.

I`ll just get that and stay away from the ECF for several months LOL,.... I dont think I can do that...

So can I get the PCC separately....? I`ll order the 510s from DY as I think he got the best deal...but since he does not have it yet I`ll need to get that thingy:rolleyes:... I`ll just ask him once I get home... dont have skype at work Aarrghh

P.s. I know about the Widow shop as well but I`m not sure if they ship internationally..

You can get a standalone PCC at Janty or Totally Wicked. If anyone knows where you can get them cheaper, please chime in.

I've had my Dura-C for about a month now and yesterday got 2 starter kits 510s in from David.

Absolutely love these 510s!

I don't have the PCC and seem to be doing fine without it. After the initial charge, these batts only need an hour or so to charge.

If I was on the go a lot I would probably get the PCC. I have a vacation to Italy coming up so I'll probably buy one soon.

If you're low on funds you can always get the PCC later.

The passthrough you ordered will get you through the battery crunch.

OK, Back to the original post, because I did'nt read all the other ones.................

What is you goal?

I'm in the hole $120.00 after 5 weeks. Part of that was freaking that they would be banned. Thats OK with me but I want to get out of it at some point. Besides juice, I can do ok with what I have. What do you want to spend a month?

What is it worth to you to not SMOKE?
It is worth alot to me. I have to consider the side effects, but it is SO MUCH better than smoking.... But keep in perspective... It can become another very expensive toy!

You should also consider the money you haven't spent on cigarettes as part of your budget. If you've spent $300 on e-cigs, but haven't spent $100 on cigarettes, then you've really only spent $200 on e-cigs.

It's all about the math...justfication is easy.

Another way to look at it is to do up your annual spend on ciagrettes, then make sure you don't exceed that number. Of course all of this is mute if you're still smoking cigarettes and using e-cigs at the same time, then you have to use new math to justify your expenses.

Viachy, I think we're all probably in the same position as you, otherwise we wouldn't be on this forum!
Have you thought about making your own mod? I made the NicoStick (see avatar) using a 401 connector and it is perfect for me.
Cost me about $20, including batteries and charger. Lasts all day, has a manual battery.

The most important thing is that you are saving your lungs.

Best of luck

I read this yesterday online and it made me think of this post....

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't.

Nicely said....

p.s. as a matter of fact I started the thread as a "compulsive" but I`m trying to cheer myself up with the thought that I really need what I`m about to buy,... just trying to get over the expenses... I would become compulsive I've started buying stuff that I don't actually need..
