As a light smoker (5-6 per day), I would get my lightheaded glee from my analogs and it just doesn't seem to be happening with my e-cig kit. I have some 18mg and 24 mg flavours that are wonderful, but no dizziness or happy place from them. I had my last analog tonight and hopefully won't get more, but that was more of an addiction than just nicotine itself I guess.

I hate to tell you this -- wait, no I don't, you probably need to know it.

A lot of that light-headedness was from inhaling carbon monoxide. You'd have to find some other way of cutting off your oxygen supply to replicate it. (Please don't actually do this.)

It is true that there are lots of other chemicals in cigarettes, so yeah, there are some effects that don't carry over to vaping. Don't worry, in my experience you'll hardly remember them in a few weeks.

It is more than just the nic. Switching to PVs takes less effort but, for most of us, it's not effortless. You might find that 18 and 24 mg juice is too much for you after a while too. I started at 24 and settled on 12. Back when I used cartos, I carried an atomizer and a bottle of higher nic juice. When I'd get a strong craving for something I was missing, I'd do a few drops of the higher nic in the atomizer. I don't use cartos anymore and I can drip in what I do use but, I still have that higher nic juice around. I haven't used it in a while.

One caution, with a cigarette the nic gets to you almost immediately. With a PV, it's a slower build up. If you do what I do with the higher nic, just do a few drops and give it some time. You can get too much while you're waiting.

I was a 1PPD analog smoker and knew I would probably be vaping quite a bit since I wanted the highest chance to have success so I started off with 11mg nicotine juice. I used the 11mg for the first month or so after quitting analogs for the 2nd time and got quite a few times were I was on a total nicotine high. Well it has been 2 months and now I am up to 18mg juice because my favorite juice in a 100ml bottle was only available at 18mg at the time of my purchase. I have been now vaping the 18mg almost constantly and never get the same feel I did with the 11mg I got when I first started vaping. I can sit here 24/7 on 18mg and not even feel any type of high but it does calm, relax, and eliminate any cravings I could possibly ever have.

When smoking analogs I would get this almost out of body experience for a little while after smoking and that was even after 20 years of smoking. While on e-cigs this only lasted maybe a month and after that everything went away but the experience is still so much better.

Vape for a few weeks and then light one up. On second thought, I'll spare you. It's god awful. You won't miss anything about it. You made a good choice when you switched. ;)

Nobody has mentioned WTAs yet?
I was going to mention it, but I see you already did.
:)

I think there are two buzzes you can get from cigarettes...
1) That carbon monoxide asphyxiation thing
2) The MAOIs from the whole tobacco alkaloids, mixed with nicotine

The carbon monoxide buzz is gone.
But you can still get that relaxing feeling from a WTA liquid.

I was sitting on the couch a couple weeks ago watching a movie and switching between two ego batteries, one had a dual coil cartomizer on it, loaded with 24mg juice and the other had an eGo-C cone on it loaded with 30mg juice. After about 15 minutes of switching between the two I decided to hit them both at the same time. That was a good idea but also, not so much. I got massive vapor and was liking it but after a few minutes doing that I started to get lightheaded and felt my heart rate increase a bit, almost like smoking a cigarette right after waking up and having not had one for at least 12 hours. So I gave them a break for about 15 minutes and went back to using one at a time.
