I bought an EH pro Atomic clone and modified it to bottom feed using the dremel method. I cut the slits at angle so the juice flows directly to the coils whether in single or dual coil mode. The juice flows and sucks back in perfectly and never leaks out of the air holes because the holes are higher than the deck. Flavor is amazing and the air draw adjustment is infinite. I already like it better than my Cyclone because its easier to squonk because the juice holes are larger and seem to suck the juice back in more efficiently not to mention that its easier to squonk with less resistance. My Cyclone AFC tends to leak sometimes when when I over squonk with the air hole adjusted to large air flow because the air holes are a bit close to the deck but this one does not have that issue. The diameter is perfect with the base of the low profile grand.

It will be a monster once the sub ohm kits are out! Only con is that it only fits on the low profile grands....

Hell yeah! Looks awesome! The diameter suits the LP amazingly.

I've been eyeing the Atomic clone since I ordered my LP Grand. Have you tried it with dual coils yet?

Nope I have not yet tried it. I'm running out of my favorite juice and don't want to burn through it twice as fast! lol

Looks great, did you do two slots or cut all the way through?

I cut all the way through. I'm not sure if it makes a difference from your design but it sure squonks/drains well! Thanks for the inspiration btw!

More Details please! I have literally been planning on doing exactly this, and struggling with search terms to find what people have posted about doing this type of mod. Awesome work!

All you need to do is place the base on a vice type grip and slowly hammer out the center post with a piece of wood/aluminum from the top. It will fall right out of the bottom. Measure how high you want the slit and mark it with a sharpie. Place the post on a vice and dremel out the slot up to the sharpie mark and once your done, clean and reinstall!

I may be buying another RDA so I will make sure to take pictures for a tutorial :)

Sorry for this stupid question but what dremel attachment did you use?

I used dremel heavy duty cut off wheel No. 420-01. They are thin and do a great job at cut stainless steel. If I did this again, I think I would use the method filthy beast did but with 2 cuts with the center intact because it will make the positive post stable from top to bottom.

This is the exact setup I plan to get; my first entrance into reoville! I've always wanted an atomic, and so to be able to use one on a reo would be literally ideal. Plus, I too am looking forward to the sub-ohm kit. Perfect-- juuuuust perfect.

Thanks for such a sick idea...

If you don't want to squank as often and have a little pool of juice left on the deck, similar idea to the A7; I tried a drilled out pin on a trial basis until I get my new pins drilled out. It was a bit loose but only wanted to try it out.

Drill thru the center pin and then a cross hole with a 1mm space between the coil lead hole and a 1/16 feed cross hole thru and in line with the lead hole for the coil. This way the bottle does not suck all the juice off the deck. This was on an atomic not the clone. The pins go in and out very hard. If you do not have an arbor press I Used a C-clamp to press it out along with the top cap as a spacer.

I tried a pin I had laying around with a hole in it to try this out. I used a silicone condom as a gasket around the bottom of the 510 adapter. The 510 adapter is too small a dia to use an o-ring to get a good seal. I do not have a Low profile yet.

It worked great for my liking! However reading some of the post all may not like this because it does not suck your deck clean like the RM2. Personally I prefer to get more hits per sqaunk, also I like the ReadyxWick and it likes to stay wet.

I ordered two more center post from Vapehappy.com and another insulator so now that it works great for my liking I need to get a pin drilled out the correct way on a lathe. The spare pins and insulators where not cheap though but worth it for my liking!

If anyone has a small pin lathe I will trade a barley used brass RM2 to drill out a pin for me. I will drill the cross feed hole.

Thanks,
Dan
