Thanks for the ideas Para, and maybe she should drag out a multimeter for the attys, but I'm thinking they're history because they are not working on any other PV either.

Ooops; my bad

Look at the center (positive connector) in the bottom of the atty.....if the center pin jammed up and shorted it out, it will probably be shoved up or to the side...that's been the case for the ones I've seen.

Once you measure the opening in the end cap I'm pretty sure I can help you fix that

I appreciate all the help you guys are sending!
Also, forgive my ignorance.
Ok, my top cap from the top down:
there is the bronze piece that does not appear to screw off. Or at least I can't get it to.
Then the knurled piece that loosens and tightens, and then the steel piece.
Nothing appears to come off, I do not find an o-ring to take out.
Correction, I can see a black o-ring between the bronze piece and the steel it's attached it, but I can't get to it.
There is a small hole on one side of the bronze cap, do I need a small allen wrench or something to take that off?

The 901 appears painted, the two 510s are SS.

This is the part you will unscrew from the very top of the GGTS

Turn it over and you'll see the knurled ring

Screwing that in and out of the end cap flattens or unflattens the o-ring that changes the size of the opening the atomizer goes through

Sometimes that top brass cap can be hard to get off, but it does come off. You can use a small allen wrench or whatever will fit in that side hole to break it loose, but be very careful not to scratch your beauty!

Now, completely remove the knurled ring attached to the underside of the brass top cap - do your attys fit now? If so, keep the knurled ring backed off a bit on the o-ring - If not, you need to send it back to Bruce for a top cap swap.

And don't forget, while you have it all apart, put some Vaseline on all the threads and o-rings - makes for much smoother assembly/disassembly.

No biggie. It's hard to tell with just screen names.

I will try this as well.

ah ha! I must not have been holding my tongue just right while trying to get it off.
Finally did it... adjusted the knurled ring, and the attys fit.
Thank you very much.

I managed without the allen wrench, thanks!
I have some nolax, is that better than vaseline?

And they fit fine, a little tight, but fine, with the knurled ring backed off.

Yes Imeo adheres to the philosophy that Vaseline is best for lubrication and it has always served me well. It is a neutral compound.

I am barely a fraction as educated as to conductivity as most here are but I know Imeo swears that he finds no benefit for Noalox. I quit using it when I cme to the GG and don't feel I have missed out on anything.

You are right Major. Noalox not only is useless but its a mess to clean it too. Also its a chemical and I dont like chemicals around me. Noalox is used for very poor connections something that dont exist on GGs. Noalox will make no difference if you apply it on GG connections

Vaseline it is then! Glad I brought it up. Granted, I had read it was good for keeping threads lubricated, but I'll go with the vaseline instead.

Oh hey! While I'm at it..... what's recommended for cleaning/polishing?
It doesn't leave my desk, I have other PV's that get carried around the house, or in the car, but my GG doesn't even get set on the desk wood, I set it on the velvet bag that came with it.
It already has fingerprints.....

Velvet bag? Thats nice. Mine came in a plastic ziplock, wrapped up in a post office bag. Which, I have to admit, seemed a bit lackluster for the most expensive piece of vaping gear I've ever purchased.

Not that it ruined its arrival or anything... I was still excited as hell... but the packaging definitely didn't live up to the contents.

I know this issue BP but at the end I desided to not increase the cost of GG just because of its packaging. Nice packaging is needed for inferior things to make them look better. Also the packaging is something that will go to the trash-can the next day after GGTS's purchase. The inside of the package speaks itself:)

Q-Tip + Vasoline....a thin application on threads and o-rings. Dry o-rings stick and get worn. If you want to try a Cape Cod polishing cloth send me your addy; I've got an extra I don't need.
