I recognize that head style. It's closer to a stardust head than a vivi head. For sure a fake and I have one. It didn't wick to save its life, and tasted of 'new coil' forever. Its stock drip tip was loose too.

I tested ohms on one head and it varied greatly as it heated up 2.4-3.2ohm. I'm not sure if all three heads were the same ohm-wise, but they tasted like it.

Then when I modified a real vivi head to fit, (center pin of the base section from the fake had to be swapped in), it worked okay but the tank leached/decolored within a week.

Don't waste your time with them like I did. Just get rid of them.

Here's the thread I started on it:

Yea they say in the description CE 5 which is a repairable Starduct. I had 2 one died thanks to TFA root beer flavor frosting the tank and turning the tip into paste. CE is a stardust they just tacked the Vivi name on to it. For now this is a buyer beware thing. So many pitfalls with all the name dropping and cloning. Vision made the original but the Vivi name quickly got borrowed by a lot of folks some good some very shady. Right now I equate the business of E-cig as a feeding frenzy. Lots of blood in the water and the sharks are out there.

I just went through that! I bought some "Vivi Nova" replacement heads, which turned out to be for clearo rebuildables. You tell by the pointy top (that of course I didn't notice until I tried to use one). I complained to ECBlend and they credited my account and are no longer selling the heads or the tanks that go with them - they were labeled "Sunrise Vivi Nova." ECBlend wasn't paying attention and didn't realize what they had ordered. I figured they were clones when I bought them, but one would think they would be clones of the correct product!

ETA: Oddly enough, I've found that the Sunrise "Stardust" clones work better than the name brand, but it could be the batch I got.

It says the heads are interchangeable between the Vivi, the Mini Vivi and the CE5 Clearo.

These are legit Vision Vivi Novas. I ordered one from them. All the markings on the box are correct.

The Vivi Nova just isn't right for everyone. It wasn't for me. I prefer bottom coil devices or Genesis atomizers. Ce2's, Vivi's, and every top coil clearo I've tried so far have tasted bad and or muted to me.

But it's not the vendor's fault that these devices weren't for me. My advice would be to never buy more than one of anything until you know you really love it.

P.S. there is a thread here about juices that will destroy polycarbonate tanks and Root Beer is on the list.

Is it just me or does it seem like most people who dislike the Nova are discussing the standard size? I use mini's and love them ... never had an issue with them. It just got me thinking that when I hear most of the complaints, it seems to be perhaps the standard.

Could this be because the Mini has a smaller diameter, thus decreasing the wicking volume? In other words, the mini has an easier time wicking because there isn't a wider area away from the wick for juice to sit. I mean, my mini novas wick perfectly fine until the last 2 or so drops left in the tank.

I just find it strange because this seems to be one of those devices that people either really like or really hate with little to nothing in between. Makes me scratch my head every time and I always feel bad for those who have a bad experience with them.

Maybe I haven't been shopping in the correct underhanded shops, but I don't believe I've heard anything about fake minis yet. A matter of time I suppose, but I think that may have something to do with it.

I've been meaning to pick up a real one for a good week now. Putting a legitimate head on my fake wasn't a bad vape at all until the tank started going. Don't get me wrong, I'm not really against knockoff anything, as long as they work decently.
