HI, My PT just quit on me. I need a new one thats affordable. I was wondering where I should go to get a good reliable PT thats affordable. I'm losing my mind with batteries that have a mind of their own. In a pinch I need a PT for when my batteries decide to mess with me and not work after they are supposedly fully charged.

I would suggest you to check out madvapes.com, they have a couple passthru options depending on what kind you are looking for and in my opinion have great prices with awesome customer service.
Do you have a PT from them? I want tried and true. I have places I use, But I want to know where bought their PT's that they are happy with.

I have a madvapes 5V 510 PT and it works well. You do need to make sure you have a USB source that can handle 2A though, and most computer USB ports can't. I got the 2A AC adapter from MV as well and it does the trick.

One thing to watch out for though - It occasionally goes into some sort of weird mode. A few times now it has stayed on after I released the button, and kept on until I unplugged it. After plugging back in, it would blink for a while (maybe 30 sec) before resetting and working as usual. I don't know if it's a "cleaning cycle" or what, but you want to keep an eye on it and pull the atty off or unplug it completely if it happens. At 5V, it will pop the atty pretty quick.

I too picked up a 5v PT through from MV. Yes I ordered my Hello 016 there as well. I alo picked up another 510 manual battery for 6 bucks and four 510 attys for 4 bucks each.

I still haven't decided which is better; 510 with LR atty or the 5V PT. But I never have to worry about dead batteries. Actually I plan to convince my knucklehead son to vape so I "hope" to pass on the battery and a couple attys to him. I also needed standard attys for the PT.

You DON'T want to use and burn out a LR atty with the 5V and my Hello 016 I purchased from them has it's own attached cone/atty so I keep them for the 016 only. The cheap attys are working as well as any others I have.

And yes, they have outstanding customer service.

Ordered mine through litecigusa and it's great. Hard lined with no battery. Works excellent.
That's the one i had originally and it crapped out on me. A day or 2 after I posted this, I bought a 5V Accessories

This one I'm very happy with. The cord is thick and it just seems really well made. i have a feeling this one's gonna last me a while.
