I've got 8 14500, six work, one died completely and one last about 30 minutes. Ultrafire by the way. I've heard here that all of these regardless of brand have a high failure rate. Except for the AWs. I don't know about the AWs from personal experience. Just what I've read.

I do believe the part about the high failure rate though.

I have 2 "no name" 14500 that worked for a few months, and now I'm having to charge them alot more often. .I'm going to buy some AW's

I bought AW 18650 and they're 2600mAh and have a constant 3.7v rate at all times. These are premium Lithium batteries, more expensive, but worth EVERY penny. .I'll never buy no-names or trust fire, ultra fire, ets,.

My .husband uses AW's in his CHuck and they last nearly a week! .and consistent vapor, unbelievable the deference a quality battery makes.

I have a Chuck being made and ordered me some of those too. And I KNOW these aren't gonna just quit in a few months or days, or whatever. .these last 2 1/2 - 3 yrs in flashlights with constant use. So I know they're gonna last awhile

Here's a link for AW's premium lithium 14500 batt, for whoever might want it AW 14500 Protected Rechargeable Lithium Battery

and this link is for the Aw's 18650 .AW 18650 Protected 2600 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery - New Version

Hey Micki
Thanks for the info. I will probably order one from them if Battries Plus does not have it. I just hate ordering things online because I dont have the patients to wait for them. It took five days to get the batteries and I am still waiting for my atty's to get here. Tomorrow will be day six for the atty's.

Your quite welcome Optsmk!

I know what ya mean, I'm sorry your having such troubles with it.. Sometimes I wonder if they don't send out the cheapest chargers/batts they can find with some of those kits, to save them $..

I'd rather buy them separate and wait so I could have better quality stuff, than get something quick, and have it be a headache. .Not much fun when you get a new toy and then it doesn't work right..:(

do you have a voltmeter or multimeter to test your batteries with?.

I have a volt meter, but I'm too lazy to go to the store to get a battery for it.
Now that I have the new batteries, I'm pretty sure that the batteries are going bad. I have been using one of the new ones for a couple of hours now nonstop, and its still giving me tons of vapor and I have not even charged it yet.

I remember a thread where someone went to Batteriesplus and had no luck. You can check their site and maybe save a trip. That and you can order online sooner..:)

I went to Batteries Plus and had no luck with the 14500 batteries. But I think I saw a universal charger for litium batteries. It looked like they could charge cr123's up to 18650's. I hope I'm right.
