Let's talk about nut flavors, can we? I love nut flavors in my tobacco, and I prefer the roasted kind. I'm having a hard time with most, so maybe someone out there has a new nut flavor for me. Or, maybe someone has a good trick to add that "roasted" flavor to existing nuts.

Here's what I've tried so far:
TFA Hazelnut - my favorite so far, tastes like a roasted nut
FA Nut Mix - too light at 4%, do I need more, and more fresh than roasted
FA Hazelnut, Almond - not roasted
FW Maple Pecan - tastes burnt and no nut flavor
INW Walnut - doesn't taste like much of anything to me
Cap and TFA Toasted Almond - don't know, I just hated these and an overpowering burnt smoke even at 1%

Gonna try peanut butters next, I guess.

Let's talk about nut flavors,

FW Butter Pecan -- 15 % single Decent strength. Sweet burnt(?) type taste. Could be described as pecan with burnt butter. Not a single. Not tried in a mix yet.
TFA & CA Peanut Butter go well together, suggest you purchase both and experiment.
TFA Coconut --No real taste. can use flavor as mixer. Great dense white clouds.
Read good things about FW Hazelnut.

+1 no @dannyv45's suggestion of trying AP.

I like "nutty" tobaccos too. I have a 9 month-old project trying to get a "pipe" tobacco the way I think I remember. I started with a recipe here on ECF called Scutch (I believe credit goes to @tc1 ) which is a RY4 base. My most recent version is a long way from the original (cut way back on the RY4, creams, and caramels, and added a couple extra tobaccos, and it is still not there but it is closer). I mention this because it was the recipe that got me started experimenting with nut flavors.
A couple I don't see you listing are:
TFA Pistachio - this was the original "nut" in the Scutch. It has a kind of richness to it. Not creamy but somehow still a richer/fuller body to it than most other nuts that I have tried. The taste IS unique (and there are those who don't care for it). For me, I find it very reminiscent of a roasted/salted pistachio nut just cracked open from the shell.
TFA Pecan - I find this a good pecan flavor that is truer to a fresh-shelled pecan, than say a pecan that you might pick off the top of a pecan pie,(NO maple/brown sugar notes, and not much of the "roasty-ness" associated with being in a hot oven), but makes a good blender w/o being overwhelming.

DISCLAIMERS:
-I have not tried to make ANY nut a stand-alone (other than for initial tasting).
-I have not even used them in a 2-4 flavor recipe.
-I like nuts as blenders and accent notes. I have not tried to use them as primary, or even secondary, flavors.
-I DO like TFA's Toasted Almond (one you said you "hated"), and use it regularly at 3%. Granted; it is in recipes using anywhere from 6 to 14 flavors in each recipe and 30PG/70VG 6mg/mL nic bases. YMMV

Use Perfumers Apprentice - Acetyl Pyrazine 5 PG which is an additive that gives a mix a peanut flavor. Goes good in tobacco. Most 555's use it. Use at 1 - 2%.

I love nutty tobaccos and use it a lot in my tobacco mixes.
Sorry I didn't include that in my list, but I've used that a lot in my tobaccos. I've had varying success with it, depends on the tobacco flavor where it blends better with more assertive ones.

I've used FW Hazelnut as well, it seems to be a bit more creamy with a butter undertone while TFA is a bit more dry and roasted.

INW Peanut (tobacco) is really nice. I combine with HS Highway and INW Three-Five, a couple TA types, and just a touch of AP. Been vaping this mix over 2 years and will never tire of it.
I have that one and I will begin testing today. What percentage do you like it at for a mix?

I'm using the peanut tobacco at 1.5%, but there is always some variability depending on what its combined with and how dominant it wants to be in an overall mix. Start low and work up.
