Hello all, I need some advice from you great minds out there. I use an eGo-T 650mAh batter and a CE4 clearo I believe. The power rating of this battery is perfect at this point for my vaping needs so I want to stick with a 650mAH eGo. I just ordered two clearomizers, both Visions. One is a (Clear) Vision VERSION 2 clearomizer with replaceable atomizer and the other is a (Clear) Vision Mini Vivi tank with replaceable atomizer. Both are 1.8ohm. This may sound silly but I want one more clearomizer so that I have 4 total and an eGo for each one as well. I am looking at the eGo-C and C Upgrade. I don't need a pass through and at this point I am not sure I need a Twist... though I am considering a Twist. Maybe one of you could explain why I would need a higher or lower voltage.

My questions are, which of the eGo's would work best for my clearo's or more specifically which eGo would be best for the Vision Version 2 and which for the ViVi Nova Mini? I don't mind getting two models of eGo's, each one for a specific tank if they would benefit from that arrangement. I got one of each for a few reasons... I want to be able to clean them, I want to be able to replace the heads, I want to customize, I want performance. I want to see which style of these will work best for me as far as vapor production, TH, longevity, flavor, ease of use, cleaning and repairing/rebuilding. Last question... Since I will have these three, please recommend a fourth clearomizer/tank... maybe a dual coil (I would need an explanation of benefits of a dual coil though) what do you suggest?

Thank you all,

Mike H.

I've been using the Kanger T2s for as long as they've been out. Kangers are proprietary to the eGo specifically so no additional thread or cone required. I tried the Kanger T3 bottom feeder, and I didn't get on with it at all. Too airy, didn't seem to me like the atty worked at all really. So I stick to the T2's as I'm a big believer in the old "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" :)

I think you and my best friend would get along great... that's his thought on things as well, if it ain't broke don't fix it... he always gives me grief because I am a "fix it until it's broke" kinda guy... I like to tinker, piece things together and customize things... to each their own right lol. I do like the look of the T2.

the different mah egos have the same output just different battery life. any of them should work with your lr heads. youll only need vv(twist) if you get higher resistance gear. i agree that the t3s are very airy and the flavor seems muted for me. i suggest you try some boge lr cartomizers and see if you like them. theyll be perfect for your ego batteries. i havent really found a clearomizer that i really like yet.

Then you'll love the Vision Vivi Nova (probably the mini is best for the Twist) as you can rewire and rewick it, just think! All that fun! Thickness of cotton threads.... or silica?..... kanthal wire or other, how many coils... :D And actually it would be good to know all this as we really don't know where or how hard the FDA boots will be in the upcoming "deeming".

My go to setup is a 1300 mah Spinner (I believe they make various sizes) and V3 Stardust. It's been working really well for a few months...i.e. I haven't made any hardware changes :)

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...how-cotton-re-wick-vision-v3-clearomizer.html

The Spinner has been dropped a few times, no issue. That mah gets me two days or so of vaping, even at 4.3+ volts. Even from the get-go there were QC issues with the 1000 mah Twist I have. Sticky twist portion, and the button has gotten stuck to the point where I had to take a push pin to it to get it out, marring the button and finish. Don't get me wrong, I have ANOTHER 1000 mah twist, no issues there, but I prefer the Spinner's size (shorter, wider) and feel.

Twist. I understand that the c-upgrade starts at 4.2 and drains accordingly. The Twist can be regulated from 3.2 to 4.8. What's key to this is that juices are not all built the same - just like cooking, they need different temperatures. For me Naturaly Extracted Tobaccos do much better at the lowest setting. (I vape at 3.4 with a 2.5 ohm for Heathers Heavenly Vapes nets) whereas other juices may need all 4.8 all the time. Just my 2 cents worth.....

Well I think I have made a choice as far as what batteries I am going to get. The Vision Spinner 1300mAh is my choice. I am very pleased with my eGo-T 650mAh as it is a trooper for sure and last for days on end so I am sure the 1300mAh will do even better. I have been trying out my two new Clearo's, the Vision Version 2 and my Mini Nova. Thanks Vapor Kings. These two clearo's are different for sure. I love the Version 2... I love it. The draw is a little bit harder on this one than the Mini Nova though.

The first one I tried was the Version 2, slightly taller than my CE4 as you can see in the pic. No leaks, fast wicking and NO issues. I get super flavor and lots of vapor. I think this has a slightly stronger (better) TH than the Mini Nova. It also looks at home more so than the Mini Nova on my eGo-T.

The second... The Vivi Mini Nova. Holds just a bit more juice and is easier to fill. As with the Version 2, cleaning is easy and quick. No leaks, faster wicking and NO issues. It does feel like I am sucking in more air with this one. I think a VV will help balance out the TH and vapor. If it does this then it will easily beat out the Version 2. It just feels like it has more to offer... because it feels like I am getting more air which tells me I may get more vapor with the new battery. Other than that, my ONLY gripe is the exposed threads on the bottom... can't stand it on its base like the Vision Version 2 and CE4.

Both of these have 1.8ohm heads in them and I tried the same juice in both of them. Until I get the new Vision Spinner's I will use the Version 2 mainly. As for the pic... I just wanted you all to see how much I have them filled. Yes they are above the bottom of the silicone caps... I have seen ZERO issues from this. No juice in my mouth, no flooding, no leaking, nothing. So fear not.

Now for the good stuff... I just want to say first that Pchela's Famous 5 Layer is right now my all day vape, thank you Mom and Pop! Now, with that said, the juice you see in my Mini Nova perched atop my eGo-T is something quite nice. This was a spurt of the moment blend after I cleaned and dried it. I urge you to try it. 1.0ml Johnson Creek Red Oak Domestic 18mg, .5ml M&P Famous 5 layer 18mg, .5ml M&P Caramel 18mg!!! Mixed it right in the tank and shook it up good... OH MY!!!

I am not sure I need a Twist... though I am considering a Twist. Maybe one of you could explain why I would need a higher or lower voltage.

Get a Twist. It will give you more latitude and you may find that some juices taste better and Twist will allow you to 'dial in' your wattage.

Nobody can answer the Vision V2 or Vivi Nova question for you......it is a matter of preference. To me, they are similar, one is just smaller.

If you have the Twist, you can experiement with both, changing out the heads to different ohms, like 1.8 or 2.4 and adjust your Twist to see what works best.

A dual coil tank would allow you to use a cartomizer, which you would either have to punch or buy pre-punched. If you like the taste of cartos then go in that direction. If you like the taste of 'wicks" i.e., clearomizer type tanks, then stick with vision2 and vivi nova.

Personally, I hated the vision2 at 1.8, way too warm/hot for me. I haven't tried a Kanger T3 yet. I mostly vape on bottom feeders and only use this other stuff if I happen to be using an Ego some days.

eGo Twists and Kanger T2s (at around 2.4-2.6 ohms). The Kanger T2's are easy to fill, easy to clean and the heads are a) replaceable and b) cheap would be my recommendation. I'm sure you'll get loads of recommendations. Happy hunting!

I took this suggestion awhile back and am very happy with the arrangement so far. :)
