So I've been doing the majority of my juice ordering from MBV lately. I've been using a 80/20 PG/VG blend. I have not experimented with different ratios in the past. My current blend is a little harsh and I would like to up my VG somewhat. From what I've been told and read the lower the PG the more mellow the flavor gets. Do you recommend getting extra shots of flavoring in your juice if you would bump it down to a 50/50 blend?

Personally, I only use 90/10 VG/PG or 100% VG and have never had flavor issues unless it's a subtle flavor to begin with. It's all about what works best for you. Do some experimenting.
That said, I don't think you'll need extra flavor unless you notice a considerable decline in flavor from using more balanced blends.

I do 50/50, You might just want to try it and see if it helps. If there is an improvment you can try go even further with the VG.
It mutes the flavor somewhat because of the consistency of VG. It has the consistency of vegetable oil or syrup. I doubt if adding flavoring would do much.
i like my flavors strong,i mix a 65% vg/35% flavor,smooth and tasty,start with 48% nic vg base,then dilute to 10% with vg,the flavors i use are pg base so its basically 65/35 vg/pg,using a genesis apv 325 or 250 mesh wick for thickness of juice,3/4 wrap of 30gauge,about 1.6 ohm,for me is perfect
