So i got the nimbus clone "V5" it has 1 air hole and the "V9" has 3 air holes. both dual coil. i have a few questions. the coils heat up properly when its completely dry but once wet it dont work for ..... its on a 3.7 mech mod. when its on the provari it says 1.1 ohm but i cant fire it. i get the all so famous E1. it came pre wrapped and wicked. i`m thinking its the hongkong wire. no sure. i dont know what wire / wick to buy. can someone point me in the right direction? i just want to drip and hit. i`m tired of buying cartos. any help would be appreciated.

Well... before you go buy 100' of a certain gauge I'd say get a small amount of several to experiment with until you know what you like.
I've used 26,28,30 & 32g Kanthal A-1 and some .8mm ribbon Kanthal. Skip the ribbon, it is a novelty, imo.
Being as it was precoiled there could be a number of reasons why it's not performing well. Unequal wire lengths come to mind first, loose post screws second..
Make sure the post screws are tight and try again.

post screws and screws are tight. i`m not sure what "no resistance wire is so i`ll have to say no? i`m new to the rebuildable atty. i watched tons of vids and figured i had it down but i dont.
Lol sorry for being unclear. "No resistance" wire offers no resistance and is used is certain atty's where long legs require the use of it. With the atty you have there is no reason for your to get any no-resistance wire.

You should atleast invest in some resistance wire and silica (or any wicking material if your choice) that way you can get the feel of rebuilding and also rule out the stock coil as crap. Stock coils on the chimbus aren't we'll built (from what I hear).
my chimbus came with 1 air hole and a shorted coil. never trust china ! get some kanthal wire and make you're own beautiful coil. also i had to drill 2 airholes out to 5/64"
need to ditch the pre-done coils and make your own ASAP, the pre made suck in those.
I've learned to never use a fasttech or any china prebuilt RBA always stick to your own builds or if SuperxDrifter makes you one take it and love it lol
ok, got the wire and wick but something aint right or it is and this just is not my thing. the wires heat up perfect with the 30 and 32 gauge. now just dripping 24mg with no VG i get insane hits with a hint to no vapor. these hit make me cough bad. choking. now when i mixed 50/50 with 12mg nic it wasnt so bad of a hit but it made me cough again with vapor. is this just how it is? if it is all i`m doing is wasting my time. what about the gennys with tanks? is that like what i`m working with now? my dual coils are also 4/3 1.2 ohm. i tested one coil, the second was built exact so i`m guessing its the same. when i put it on the Provari to test the ohms as a hole all it said was "Lo". i`m thinking it ment lol seeing i have no clue as to what i`m doing haha. i got the basics down. watched 100`s of vids. i`m just not sure if this is for me.
wrapped 2 new coils and only used the 50 / 50 and its fine. everything is good. thanks for those who tried to help. i dripped pg only on the coils and got that choking hit. thats how i figured it out.
