Does extra flavor make vape harsh?

Do different brands of e-nic have different levels of harshness?

I managed to go 2 whole days without stinkies and I was so excited! On the 3rd day I could not tolerate it, my throat burned. I know higher nic content does this but 24mg is the only level that has kept me off cigs and I cannot taste anything without extra flavor. I use VG which is supposed to be smoother.

Is there a supplier that has a smoother nic base? I am not ready for diy yet (coming soon)

Yes, certain flavors can make your juice harsh...cinnamon, mint, spearmint, wintergreen, and I'm sure others. Also, a lot of flavoring is PG based which can also be causing your issue.
When I used to DIY, I found that it's in who the manufacture is. I always liked myfreedomsmokes.com nic base...seemed smoother to me.
The strength of nic you're using is also come of the culprit. There isn't much difference, IMO, between 18mg and 24mg. You might get a bottle of 18mg and give it a try.

I have been doing DIY for a while now. I love the freedom of flavors. The nic definatly plays a big part with how harsh it is, but I have to say when I 1st started vaping my throat bothered me for a good week before it felt normal again. I was a 1 1/2 pack smoker and I quit with 18mg nic. It wasn't even 2 weeks and I had lowered it again. I now vape 8mg happily about 7 months later. My suggestion is to drink plenty of fluids and maybe a little teaspoon of honey now again. E-juice tends to make your mouth and throat dry. It is the same irritation someone who starts regular nebulizer treatments goes through. It does go away. I was afraid that I would have to find a different way to quit if the soreness didn't go away but it does :). And be assured the longer you don't smoke the better you will taste and smell. The e-juices will taste better and better. I was shocked. Before I would smell a cigarette and want one and now I can smell one almost a block away and it comes across as gross. Congrads on the first 2 days! Hang in there.
