Ooooo shoot! Are your batteries charged? Is your atty a good one? Have you got enough e-liquid going? Is the atty making good contact? Those are the things I've found wrong when my Nicostick was wonkie. Maybe someone else will be along with other ideas. You could also maybe contact the maker (sorry, can't remember his name, but sure you can since you just got it

they were brand new batteries, atty is good cuz i tried it on my regular 510 and it works great, damn this sux.......
i figured they battries package were charged..... and yes i got it on a usb now and i get a few little hits and thats it
I've seen some come with a charge and some not.
You probably just need to let it charge. The USB port probably cant charge a completely down batt and power the atty at the same time. After it charges it wont have to work as hard.

On. If the red light doesn't come on, press the button for a second and then it should do.
I would suggest contacting cybervex about your problem. I too had problems with my bartleby and he took care of me right away. He is an excellent seller and gives great customer service!
