I kept a half pack in my car for a few days just as a safety blanket type of thing I think. I did smoke one or two the first few days when I was getting used to vaping, but I never ended up finishing the pack
The first days that I was off of analogs (about a pack/day of Camel Filters), I could tell that my e-cig was indeed helping my withdrawal, a lot. But not quite 100% of it, no matter how much I vaped. I just suddenly had this feeling that nicotine was not the only chemical I was addicted to. I guess it could just be psycological, but if there were other addictive chemicals, what would they be?
I am happy to say that I am 100% off of analogs for almost 3 weeks now, and the thought of going back to them makes me sick. I never would have been able to do it this quickly without the e-cig! You can do it, just go at your own pace and you will find a way to cut them out in the end.
I really want to bring attention to this point, because it was seriously bothering me when I first cut out the analogs. What other addictive chemicals are in a cigarette that are not present in an e-cigarette??And, obviously, with 4000+ chemicals in a burning cigarette, there are probably other things we're missing when we crave a cigarette.
