Where do you want to go with vaping?
Decide that first and then let the hardware follow your desires.
Let me put out some examples for you...
If you want to use vaping purely as a way to try to quit smoking then I'd suggest something like the following:
Ego c twist 1100 mah battery and a protank 2 or protank 2 mini
You may also need to get a battery charger if you don't already have one.
The above is what I consider to be a good set up for somebody that wishes to try to quit smoking and then either reduce the nicotine in their juice until they are at 0 and then stop vaping.
On the other hand...
If you think that you're going to want to vape for the rest of your life and you know that your personality (like mine) is one of those personalities where you can't do anything half assed and you know that you need to go full hog into anything that you do, then I'd suggest:
iTaste MVP 2 and a couple of tanks of your choice (I'd suggest the Protank 2 or 3, and an aerotank mega and maybe a nice protank 2 mini but this is your choice, get the kind of tanks that work well for you, for me only the "air" tanks work well, I need my aerotank mega and my nautilus to allow me the free easy air draw).
Since the MVP 2 charges itself (I mean you don't need an external charger) all you'll need if you don't already have it, would be about a 2amp wallwart and maybe a longer usb to mini usb cable (the one that comes with it is tiny short but good for using your MVP 2 to charge your phone).
I think the MVP 2 is a good way to get into the vaping atmosphere and then you've not wasted your money buying things like Blu look a likes, and ego twists etc and be able to start off with a nice plume of vapor and get your nicotine fix.
If you decide that you won't be satisfied with that and have one of those personalities that says "I won't rest until I have the best" then somebody else will have to tell you what is the absolute considered to be the best mods and tanks available today. Personally, I'm extremely happy with the MVP 2 that I picked up this week, and only saddened at the amount of money that I spent on all the ego twist batteries that I had purchased that I could have just skipped by going straight to a mod.
