Hey everyone.

I recently came into cash and I have decided to buy a new ecig/mod. I currently use vapor4life cartomizers, so I want something that will work well with these.

Important factors for me: It has to be at least 3.7 volts (I looked into Cigeasy's elegant easy for the kr8, but the low voltage and warrantee aren't enough for me). 6 volts is too high

I don't want something too bulky. I want something pretty! I like the riva/ego design, and I have been considering the riva, but I don't know where I can get one with the adapter I need at the same time. I wanted to buy it at vaporjunction, but they don't have the adaper, and I want to buy it all at once.

So I am open for some suggestions:) Someone help me! Theres too many reviews to sort threw and to many options!

Kimmy I recommend the ego, I have a Hello016 (a 1.3 Ah battery) but it's wider than the eGo. I like eGos too, and will be getting one eventually also. The eGo has the 2.5ml cartos also available already, and they're great.

The eGo can also work with 808D1 cartos, I have been using them with my Hello016 and they will work with the eGo too. Just get a 510 to 808/901 adaptor, they're inexpensive and many suppliers have them.

:)

Yes goodprophets and LitecigUSA have great prices and excellent shipping in your state.

And furthermore, in Fla., Totally WickedUSA even has lots of eGos in many colors and even Automatic eGos! These are new imo, but they also have adaptors and 2.5ml cartomizers.

(The 2.5ml cartomizers are fantastic, I got mine today and they're great, perfect vapor, perfect and consistent and smooth draw.)

[I don't think you need the whole kits though, that's my thought. You do need the little charger and of course your battery and adaptor.]

You can use almost any mod with cartos with an adaptor.
I love my Ego but it is not a true 3.7 and there is a difference.
I keep looking at the provape because it is pretty and of course the precise
because that is really classy.
They will have to wait for a while for me though.

I have a provape, great device, very appealing to both men and women which I love.

Unfortunately the button has been misfiring lately. No biggie, it was free so I won't complain, they have a great warrantee and I highly recommend them

The precise looks awesome! But I don't really want to wait for a device that long and I hear there is a wait. It sure is sexy though:)

ego ego ego. hahaha it's the most recommended PV lately! I guess I'm going to have to look into that.

John, you use it with cartomizers, does the lower voltage mess with the throat hit on the premiums?

Right now I use the Hello016, but I'm about to get the narrower eGos, the eGo may just slightly affect the throat hit, but not too bad I hope. Good question. With the eGo (2.5ml) cartomizers that I got today, I am also trying some other liquids with great TH and vapor as well.

Unless you already have tons of V4L prefilleds, I would say yes, try an eGo. If nothing else, at least until they make the 5volt batteries. (around 20bucks for the battery and a few for the charger is not bad). Maybe someone else will chime in on the throat hit with V4L's on the eGo.

I guess what I was trying to say is that with an eGo and its new high performance cartomizer, I will have no TH and vapor worries. I'm using this new eGo supercartomizer right now as I post.

Kimmy they are making so many new things very often, have you also checked the 'VGo'?
There is a thread here in General discussion about it. It uses the 808D threads and you can get jumbo cartomizers too:

Thread about the new VGo:

I saw that before! Pretty good deal. I'm deff going to keep an eye on that thread to see what people think of it.

I'm going to do a bit more research on the ego because I just saw a thread discussing how the cone can restrict airflow to the cartomizer. I know I can use it without the cone, but it just doesn't look as cool hahaha.

Thanks John & everyone for your help! I'm still open for suggestions too:)

You're right, if you definitely need to use 808D cartomizers, then I may not recommend the eGo.
:)

I only would if you wanted the new cartomizers, but then again, you can even try them now on the V4L batteries (with an adaptor). I'll buy you one if you want one.

Kimmy, I bought an eGo and use it exclusively with V9 & V4L carts. (get the adapter..madvapes has it for 2.49, in case you buy your kit from a place that doesn't sell the adapters also)

I can't tell you enough how much better the eGo batts are compared to the kr808 batteries. I don't lug around x-tra batteries or chargers or PCC's anymore. Soooo much better.

PS...I checked out the link for the V-Go (which looks like an eGo that you don't need the KR adapter for...score!) but unfortunately it doesn't let you click on "order" on the page!?!!!??!!
