I mean I've literally only smoked 1 or 2 cigarettes in my life. Honestly I like to
vape for the buzz and calmness feeling. I don't find that feeling in a cigarette. I remember the second time I've had one I took extremely large hits and held them in for as long as I could and didn't even get a buzz...? Maybe that's not why people smoke? Ehh, anyway I found it to be a waste of time.
...when smoking gave me a buzz... that was a long time ago... like 20 years ago when I first started. I remember being 19, and in my car.. I'd light up whatever cigarette I had, and would smoke it in my ole Chevy impala with a rusted roof. Over time though, my body got used to the nicotine, and that "buzz" went away and settled into an addiction. The addiction feeling was it took a cigarette to feel calm..but not buzzed. When I didn't have a cigarette, I simply had this urge.. like a man starving for food... it's all you think about, and if you came close to a cigarette, you would start to crave one for yourself. You could try to ignore it, but it never would last very long.
If that's the buzz you're looking for, it's the sign of the beginning of an addiction.
tobacco did provide me with a slight buzz in the beginning, but for the next 20 years it just replaced the buzz with a return to normalness...It wasn't a relaxing feeling, but a sort of satisfying feeling that you've fed the addiction.
If you're seeking to get rid of a smoking addiction, then you should be working down the nic levels. Nicotine is a poison, and eventually, if you keep going higher than 24, you will get sick and get poisoned from it. 24 is considered high nicotine... You eventually want to go with a LOW dose.
If you're seeking a buzz, then you need to get another part of your life fixed. You shouldn't have to go through life being "not normal". Some people want to go through life "not all there". If that's your case, then fix what's broken instead of putting a band-aid on it.
