I need some help !

I bought an Itaste MVP about 4 months ago. I was going on a long drive so I got a Usb charger for the cigarette lighter and all of a sudden my Itaste started overheating. The whole thing was really hot and the micro usb cable (the metal part) actually burned me. I was wondering if I should try charging it again on a wall charger or is the thing fried. I would like to avoid the whole exploding thing if possible. Also I'm looking for another mod. I really liked the Itaste Mvp but I need to know if it was user error on my part for using the usb car charger to charge it or if it's a known issue with the device. I've used other usb car chargers to charge this device many times and it was fine. I need something that is VV preferably a box mod.

I think that some of the car chargers and usb chargers coming out now are super junk. After losing 2 of my usb ports on my tower I'll never, EVER use anything but a wall wart again. And those car chargers? Not in my baby. I love my truck.

I'm glad your MVP seems to still be working. You could drive for 2 days and still have juice in those puppies.

I would be blaming the car adapter thingum. I have one that I haven't even used. It's rated output is 5 V 1 amp and I paid all of a $1.50 for it on DealExtreme. Considering all the complaints about things going badly with cheapo car USB power adapters I'm more inclined to crack it open and see what's inside there than actually use it.
