Hey Guys,

Right now my main setup consists on KR808D1's I have two standard automatic batteries and a usb manual for when I'm on my desktop. Also I have on it's way a 510 tank kit with two batteries, two atomizers, some clear carts and three eliq carts.

I'm considering also a variable voltage unit such as the lavatube or the mvari (same thing different price tag i was told) as all of you I used to be a heavy smoker and now a happy vaper and I'm not quitting any time soon so I want to have the right gear to enjoy it. The problem is that in my country we don't have many options, we have V2 cigs and besides that we can get around with ejuice easily but more parts, atomizers, drip tips, tanks well, forget about it!

I refill my standard kr808 cartos as much as I can, I do hate the flavour of the inside media burning when the juice is running out.

I was really looking forward at the lavatube and i was reading then users complaining about having to change the vaporizer even once a week , I can't have that luxury of importing spare parts all the time.

What are my options?? Tank carts looked good until I understood that they do have cartos inside anyway...

I love the hassle free idea of the cartomizer they are easy to refill but I would like something durable cartos able to be refilled over and over again with minimum maintenance, something that could be easy and somehow affordable to stock myself without importing parts every month.

Please your advice would be appreciated.

thank you in advance.

The ultimate set-up for you would be a rebuildable atomiser system like the Genesis, on a big-battery 3.7 volt APV. Unfortunately these systems are not really mass market yet as they are hard to obtain and perhaps only for modders. (If anyone knows where you can buy a rebuildable unit off the shelf, we'd like to know - thanks.)

If reliability is your main requirement, as it seems to be, then you would be far better off with a 3.7 volt APV with an 18650 battery than anything else. Examples: Silver Bullet, Xhaler, Reo (also has liquid feed). This is because VV devices can sometimes shorten atomizer/cartomizer life if mistakes are made, and/or require servicing themselves. A big-batt simple APV will last a very long time without servicing, and even then you might be able to do it yourself. Plus, it doesn't strain the head (whatever you put on the top end).

I've got LR atomisers that have lasted over a year on a 3.7v device like this. The secret is to have several of them and rotate them in use, so one atty never gets worked hard; keep them very wet in use; and don't use harsh cleaning methods. Cartos won't last as long. Rebuildable clearomisers might work for you.

The simplest device that does what you want and has the lowest maintenance requirement is a Reo. All you need is a selection of LR and SR atties and a driptip, and you're done. If you are lucky with the quality of atomizers you buy, half of them will still be working a year later, as long as you are a careful user and don't use nutty cleaning methods. If you're not naturally lucky then maybe a Silver Bullet with a 510 rebuildable atomizer/tank system might be better.

I would agree with Rolygate, an 18650 mod is ideal, and a rebuildable Atty is a must in your situation, if you like dripping, there's the ato-miser from inhaler, there's also the bulli a2-t, from bullismoker, if you like tanks, or just the bulli a2 if you like carts, also the a2 can be used for dripping with a 701 to 510 driptip adapter (vaporage has these)
