nuh also has 'experimental' methods to help quit smoking sometimes... i enrolled as a lab rat once...
This forum is not named as "quit smoking" forumI need to quit smoking. Can any sg locals advise me and help me? Thanks

I am basically here to seek alternative infos not only just e-cig la, oh thank you for the same advises from Non smokers and those who already quit. Alamak mai act so high up there leh... walau.... is like going to club or pub and tell other drinking is bad, cos you are not one. Wakao....

@zootersg Relax man. This is a forum so take it in good fun. No one is looking down on you. We are all in the same boat.
You do know that it is very hard to advice you to quit smoking. Like what you have said, whatever method we have advised you, you have done all of them and none of them work. If all the advices we gave you are all that you have tried before, we can't do anything about it.
Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that your question is baiting us to tell you how to start your vaping life in our local land. Because other than vaping (which is an illicit activity), there's nothing much I can advice. Nicotine substitutes, nicotine hotline, medication and etc are not working for you.
Look, it's not that we are sitting on our high horse. It's just that these kind of questions usually lead to asking of source and location... And knowing very well of our situation in our country, we are extremely wary of this.
I'm very sorry that I can't help you much on your journey to quit smoking.
Anyway, "not having determination to quit smoking is the lamest excuse" is kinda true. Majority of us are smoker haha, we have different motivation to quit smoking. Some have stronger motivation such as keeping the family healthy and (most importantly, keeping our family jewel healthy is always a good thing) while other people have not so strong motivation like wanting to keep healthy and stuff. In my experience, to quit smoking for someone you love is much easier than to quit smoking for yourself.
Along your journey in life, I sincerely hope that you will be able to find a reason to quit smoking. Much apologies as I wasn't that helpful.

Note: Also to clarify why I'm trying my best to use good English... Singlish convey a lot of emotion which sometimes can be positive or negative. I'm sincerely writing this post so as to make you understand why we are all so jittery about this topic. Since proper English keep emotions in check and make the post neutral, I have decided to write this post in almost standard English. This is not to spite you or anything as I just want to keep the emotion of this post neutral and prevent any misunderstanding.

If TS is indeed genuine in seeking alternatives in quitting smoking, lets help him. Yes he has mentioned legal and illegal ways. If you guys know of any solutions that may assist, do help. So far I do not see any sensitive areas touched by TS yet. In fact all the sensitive areas are actually starting to be mentioned by the regulars here. For example, @isux what did I say about listing addresses or locations?
Tried everything, as in every legal ways... All Failed... i don't have determination one....

Anything that is tobacco related that is not taxed locally is illegal. Nicotine is controlled under the poisonous act.
Thus one of the illegal ways includes vaping.

Everytime you smoke dwell on the digusting hypocrisy and greed of the government. You sit stuck on ciggys while they laugh all the way to the bank!
Think about how they prey on your addiction to nicotine and profit a great deal from it while you take all the risk and then give nothing back. They dont even subsidise patches and gum!
Then think about how they deny of your rights to use lower risk alternatives to manage your addiction, and at the same time drown the market in duty paid cigarettes.
Also think about that if you develop a tobacco related illness that they will not be there to support you with expenses even after all the years they put their hand in your pocket.
Hit them where it hurts! Deny them of tax revenue from smoking even if it painful to do so!
Don't forget that health insurance are more expensive if you are a smoker haha!
