So I have been rebuilding for about a week.. and actually gotten pretty good on rebuilding the burnt Aspire nautilus heads..
Yesterday, I decided to put in a fresh from the packet head ... and it burnt out in 3hrs :?:
So today I taken it apart to rebuild it and found one of the coils to be odd looking (the top coil), unlike other past coils from other burnt out heads...

It looks deformed... Anyone seen something like this before? is this normal for a burnt coil? and what is it?
Needless to say my rebuild is working perfect so far... cleaner flavor... no burnt...

The looseness may have been cause from removing it. Honestly, to me it just looks like it got way too gunked up. But it may have had some type of defect in the actual coil material and was just bad from the get go. But I've never seen a coil that gross so really anything I say is pure speculation. You might get some good feedback from the folks that frequent thisRebuildable Atomizer Systems part of the forum.
