Thanks guys for your quick responses! A lot of interesting suggestions here. So now I would like to ask you to compare on the kgo, e - power, Silver bullet and the box mod (prolly from madvapes) so that you can make my decision easier. Any further suggestions though are also welcomed!! Thanks again for your time and effort!

Ok your thread did ask for an honest opinion.. so there ya go again :)
Anything plastic will be dropped cracked or eventually broken. You will be able to fix it/repair it/glue it yourself thats true and a plus... or just have a mechanical metal mod right away :) IMHO everyone should have one dependable mod before jumping into high-tech varivolt & tank mods.

hey guys just a quick question. is there a mod better than silver bullet? because i have been looking all around youtube and the forum but I can see that everyone likes SB best

"Better" as in more features and more up to date/fancier look, yes :) "Better" as in if you were left on the deserted island and could take only one PV that you trust.. No.

How many mods and PVs from 2 years ago do you still hear being mentioned around the forums and keeping a pretty good resale value for such a long time? :)

You probably shouldn't decide what is best for you based on what other people say is best for them. Your best bet is always going to be to look at your own needs and wants. For example...I found that I wasn't fond of tanks or attys...at all. I hate leaking, burnt out parts, getting juice in my mouth and the big mess that I found with a 3 piece set up. I also didn't want to carry around something big. I don't mind rotating batteries as long as they don't die out too fast. I don't mind topping off with juice as long as it's not messy and is quick and painless. I like good vapor and a smooth TH that isn't too harsh but is pleasant. I also wanted high quality and a set up that wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg in replaced parts. I watched reviews for a few days and decided to get the Halo G6 and I'm happy to say that it fits all of my needs perfectly. I couldn't be more happy with it. This is one of the next generation KR808D-1, so it's pretty new with new technology. A lot of people who have been vaping for awhile probably tried the old KR808D-1s and don't realize how good this little beast of an e-cig is. I smoked at least a pack a day for over 20 years and I vape A LOT, sometimes chain vaping...and I'm very, very pleased with my set up. Your needs might best be served by a mod or they might not, but if you want to end up with a set up you are really happy with then you really do need to sort out exactly what is most important to you and then find something that best suits those needs, whatever that may be. Good luck on your journey!

I initially ordered an E-power for a friend to start vaping and wasn't impressed. The battery life was not very long-3 hours avg. So, I replaced it with a Kgo from Hoosierecigs.com and was blown away. I use a 5v GLV and the Kgo performance was very similar to that. And its cost only being 45.00 is an added plus. My friend loves her Kgo and the battery is lasting her all day. I am thinking about ordering one as a backup to my 5v.
Try the 18650 E-Power, you can buy extra 18650 3000 mAh batterys and vape all day, but it is big. The 14650 E-Power is around 1300 mAh. What is the mAh of the Kgo??

3 hours? That's not right at all.... I have an e power from vapor junction and it lasts over a day! I vape heavily too. Maybe your batteries were faulty?

----- Ever wonder why ice cubes taste so boring? It’s cuz you make ‘em outta stupid water, you bimbo! Put some fruit juice in there and freeze it into ice cubes, and put THAT in your milk........ For your health!

My personal recommendations for people on a tight budget would be a Riva 510 Kit with a carto bunch from Crystal Clear Vaping and the juice of your choice. The hardware alone is about 52 bucks shipped (not sure on overseas shipping though) 15 cartos will last me a month and a half to 2 months heavy vaping.

Good luck with your search
