I just got my new joye 510's yesterday had to wait for the initial charge and was off to the races. I also bought my hubby a starter kit who told me it was a stupid idea and would not work. Well after his first few hits he turned to me and said why did we ever smoke regular cigs Keep in mind he was a 3 pack a day hard core smoke it to the filter put one out lets have another smoker. This morning he had me clean out all the ashtrays and put them away told me if I want to smoke another analog it has to be done outside because he is done with them.

So if my hubby who loved to smoke can be converted over anyone can be. I am not saying he wont have a slip up and smoke another analog from all the reading I have done on here I see that happening. However, I am happy to know that all my research and information I found on this site and from my friend paid off.

congrats! slipping up is something we all do eventually. you will see some people whose little signature "Analog free since XXXX" dates keep changing. well, at least theyre honest. for me, i need a little extra kick in the mornings, so i bum a cig each morning at work from a coworker. she gives me one, i give her some vape, as she loves the flavors.

That's too funny. I made one of those little tickers and then never put it in my sig because I had bought a pack of analogs and wasn't completely off of them. Good news is I'm smoking less than half than I was before e-cigs... I'm just apparently not completely done. I'm trying to go smoke free for the weekend again and hopefully this work week will go better. I'll wait until I'm not longer buying any analogs at all to put up a ticker.

I made a promise to myself, my wife, and my kids that the minute I started vaping, I'd completely stop smoking. Of course, I know this probably means I'll be vaping like a maniac when the craving hits, but it's all for the best.

I will just remind myself what I am doing this for. I hope that helps.

congratulations for both you and your man :D
if I didn't know better, I would have thought that you were my wife and refering to me lol, but my wife is here under LadyBunny, so it's just the same story, different people :)

My lady is not 100% off ciggs yet, but close, and I was the heavy smoker lol
I think as long as you don't make a big deal about it it works... the odd smoke is no big deal imo but the longer you go, the more you see how much better vaping is...

I just got back my sense of taste (scary) and worse, my sense of smell! now I can smell every ones bad B.O. / cheap perfume / cologne... but hey, I'm not coughing any more :)

Crankyfuzz...hope you ordered lotsa good strong juice, gotta keep him rolling with it..

I did order quite a bit of juice I went with tobacco flavors to start with I just picked his fav brand so far he is happy with it. I used the advice on the board as to what a good starter kit would be with all the extras.

Congrats to both of you. I was like your husband on the smoking...and although I do still indulge on occasion, I don't see it as a big deal. Have fun!!!!

I would not find it a big deal either if either of us slipped off but he apparently really wanted to quit just did not know how. I ordered the 510's as a surprise and waited till they were here to spring it on him.

congratulations for both you and your man :D

Nope not your wife but if my hubby ever gets on the forums he will know its me lol. Glad to hear that it is working out for you the news and support on this web site is fantastic better then any other time I have ever tried to quit before.

I still have a sense of smell although it it is dulled I was a 2 pack a day smoker. Hubby however does not have a sense of smell anymore I can not wait for him to get it back along with the taste buds glad to hear it does eventually.
