I ordered from fasttech so I know it'll be a bit (says 14 days tops and it was within 2 weeks when I ordered something from them before... fingers crossed). I have 3 Sigeleis so I'm really excited to try something different (other than egos and a brief encounter with an itaste vv, I've only used my Sigeleis). I did a lot of research and have talked to a few people at my local vape shops and the Vamo seems to be a good device.

Anyone have any advice or information I should know about? I just sold a lot of my unused vape gear so I could try something new so I really hope no one says, 'That was a dumb move' lol. I don't know much about the Vamo, but I did compare features to my Sigeleis', I'm hoping that it's not a downgrade from what I'm used to.

IMO, be careful with the voltage or wattage, you can easily burn your coils. Also, my VAMO lasted about 1 week before it stopped working. I returned it, moved on, and never looked back. That being said, it's capable of giving you a decent vape. I would take the MVP over the vamo, if you're not looking to spend a lot of cash.

Best of luck to your vaping endeavors.

A buddy of mine has Fasttech Vamo v5 since January and he loves it, no threading issues. He switches between Evod, Pro T2, and Innokin 30s. Whether or not you notice a big difference between Sigeleis is hard to say, it's more of topper and it's build. You could look into Kayfun/Clonefun, that was big game changer for me.

What is your current topper?

OH NO!!! You Did WHAT????

LOL No, it should be just fine for you!! I wouldn't call it a down grade.. Maybe just like a touch of the same direction in a different car...
I was perfectly happy with my Vamo V2 until I wore out one of the buttons..( After 1 + Year of Use and Abuse I might add...) It's now a BAMO as I put the chip in a box and I Still Use it...
In Fact, I'm currently working on 2 Vamo V5 chips in box mods.!

I got one last week and really like it. I think I'm more of a box guy though. It's larger than I expected and it rolled of my table already. The menu takes a little getting used to but now I like it. Vapes great with my pro tank! Be ready for a long heavy bludgeoning device! Seems built to last!

I use Pyrex carto tanks, 2 ohm single coil between 8-9 watts. I have one small rebuildable, but I don't use it very often, I haven't quite figured out how to use it lol. I had a guy I know at my local vape shop build it, but Idk what to do with it now!

One thing though, it was pretty inexpensive at fasttech. I bought it b/c it was cheap, I don't NEED it right away and I do have my 3 Sigeleis if it sucks lol. If it doesn't work out for whatever reason, although I've read a lot of great things about it, it's not going to hurt me. Not that I like throwing money away, but it was 'extra' money I had just for this reason, to find something other than what I have.

I was watching GrimmGreen's video review (I can't remember if it was the V5 or V3) and he was talking about wanting to name it b/c it has a face lol, I was like 'hmmm, he looks like an Oscar' lol. I'm 'special' I know!

The V2 Vamo does have a problem with the center pin connector getting pushed down. I can't say if the V5 does, I haven't got one and I won't be ordering the topper part of one until after my next paycheck. Just be aware you might have to do a Center pin o-ring fix.
But then, You might have to do that on Most APV's... (Noticed my SVD is spring loaded.. so shouldn't be a problem with that one.. ;) )

I've had a couple V5's since they first came out and they are in my daily rotation I really like mine. I like having 4-5 different flavors going and don't like changing mods. I'm not sure if they have changed it or not but when I got mine you had to hold the left button for a about 10 sec or so to make sure its on RMS if it's not everything tastes burned.

I wouldn't even know where to begin fixing anything lol, but I do know a guy at the vape shop that could do it for me! LOVE having backup lol.

I will def. be checking that! When I got my last Sig. I noticed it was burning hotter than the other two and I could not for the life of me figure out why and then out of nowhere I had a light bulb moment (literally I was just sitting and it just hit me) and thought 'oh crap, I didn't check the RMS/Means setting' lol and sure enough it was on Means! Lesson learned, I will be checking that first thing from now on!

The Vamo will be quite a bit longer per battery size than a Sigelei V3 or V5. Plus the telescopic tube of V3 and V5 allows for intermediate sized batteries between 18350 and 18650. If the Sigeleis were made after the summer of 2013 they will offer super durable one-piece stainless steel 510/eGo threading and removable top caps. The telescopic Sigelei V3 and V5 will seem heavy due to the dual thickness stainless steel needed for a telescopic tube.

I was going to find you, I have some questions about my Sigs, can I PM you? I plan on using my Vamo in the 350 size exclusively, my Sig V3 is only in 350 mode, I just don't want or need it to be longer, plus I only have 350 batteries lol.
