I ordered a Vamo V5 today, I hope it was the right choice!

V8inDamma - I really love your avatar!

Thank you!!

Oh now that you said using it in the 350 mode I hope this was fixed but if not just a heads up. When you go to unscrew it to make it into the 350 mode be careful as some of them unscrew at the first one right under the buttons and then you have to find a way to fix it as its not suppose to unscrew there. I haven't had it happen but some have. But don't let that scare you like I said I really do like mine.

I ordered from Fasttech so I know it'll be a bit (says 14 days tops and it was within 2 weeks when I ordered something from them before... fingers crossed). I have 3 Sigeleis so I'm really excited to try something different (other than egos and a brief encounter with an itaste vv, I've only used my Sigeleis). I did a lot of research and have talked to a few people at my local vape shops and the Vamo seems to be a good device.

Anyone have any advice or information I should know about? I just sold a lot of my unused vape gear so I could try something new so I really hope no one says, 'That was a dumb move' lol. I don't know much about the Vamo, but I did compare features to my Sigeleis', I'm hoping that it's not a downgrade from what I'm used to.

With my sigelei zmax I have to enter the single button menu and press and wait between presses etc etc etc all just to check my battery voltage or my coil resistance.

With my vamo v3, to check battery voltage ANYTIME I just hold down the left button for 2 seconds; to check coil ohms, I just hold down the right button for 2 seconds.

With the zmax checking battvolts or coils ohms is just too much trouble to do unless you REALLY have to so when you might want to know either one, you end up just not bothering.

One thing though, it was pretty inexpensive at fasttech. I bought it b/c it was cheap, I don't NEED it right away and I do have my 3 Sigeleis if it sucks lol. If it doesn't work out for whatever reason, although I've read a lot of great things about it, it's not going to hurt me. Not that I like throwing money away, but it was 'extra' money I had just for this reason, to find something other than what I have.

I was watching GrimmGreen's video review (I can't remember if it was the V5 or V3) and he was talking about wanting to name it b/c it has a face lol, I was like 'hmmm, he looks like an Oscar' lol. I'm 'special' I know!

Come to think of it; yeah; kinda looks like on o those blow up dolls!

I do that! I just don't even mess with it! It is a lot of scrolling just to see those options. That's one thing I really liked about the Vamo.

The Sigelei Zmax V3 can be programmed to show battery voltage every time it is fired at Menu Item #5 LCD DISPLAY. I have mine set to show firing wattage when the fire button is pressed. I get battery voltage by hitting Menu Item #4. It's all user selectable. The V5 can show battery charge and fire voltage or power every time the fire button is pressed.

I have mine set to show battery, since I only use it in 350 mode I like to keep an eye on my battery! My tanks are all glass tanks and my cartos have the ohms and single or dual coil etched on the side so pretty much everything I need to know is easily visible, only thing that's not is my power, but I think all of mine are on 9 now (I seem to keep creeping up on the power lol).

I got my Vamo today and I am very happy with my choice (so far, it's only been a few hours lol). I LOVE the buttons, it's a lot easier than just having the one button on my Sigelei. I like the warm vape and the airflow is good. It's very similar to my Sigelei in the sense of performance, obviously the design is different, but there are many things that are similar which makes me love it that much more. I was worried for a while, but I'm SO glad that I went for it!
