I don't know where to post this. Hopefully this is the place. My tongue did not like the PG so I switched to all VG. I had bought VG 30ml from a well known vendor to use as a base and mixed flavors and was doing pretty well. I also ordered premixed VG flavors from the same folks and all has been good. So, I want to cut down the nic level and also want to experiment a bit with flavors. I did some research and ordered a bottle of NOW VG. The NOW VG is supposed to be good stuff, it's considered food grade. Well it arrived yesterday. Since I am just about out of my liquid I made up a 5ml bottle of VG, 15 drops each of tobacco and RY4 and maybe ten drops of distilled water. The liquid seemed to have the correct consistency I used it as a drip to test it. Eh, it was ok. I have a few cartos sitting around some are 3.0 and up. Hey, I decided I am going to make my own passthrough. I have some old batt tops laying around.... I used a powered USB hub that was giving me 5.1v. Soldered it up and WOW.... I used a G4 carto and some others that were 3 and up. The vape was awesome.

Now to my concerns. I developed some nasty flu like symptoms. Headache of and on, backache, but the worst was the feeling in my head. I was woozy big time. So, I dunno, was it the VG mix, was it the %v which produced more vape than I thought possible. Was it actually a bug I had( haven't really felt to well the past three days. Or just a combo of the three.

Lay it on me folks. Waddya think?

1. Test by cessation / replacement / reintroduction to determine the cause.
2. Wait 2 days to see if your flu bug goes. Do not vape the new material.
3. Vape your old stock.
4. When your flu goes, reintroduce the new material. The result tells you which did what.

If you're saying you only have one material to vape, and you can't wait till the cold/flu has gone - well, the problem could be anywhere.

I agree with Rolygate, and want to add that if you are suddenly vaping a lot at 5V, you are likely taking in much more liquid, and thus nic, than you are used to. It sounds like a bug, but perhaps the sudden added nic is not helping. Body aches are not generally a symptom of too much nic, however, and are a symptom of a bug. Wooziness could be either. As Roly said, take it in a very controlled one step at a time.
