I agree with the above posters. The first three days are the hardest. Once you start "detoxing" from all the NASTY cigarette chemicals it will be hard again for a few days, but as the smell comes back, the wheezing and coughing stops, you will be good to go.

I have no desire for an analog, and haven't for over 2 months. I can walk by people smoking, or smokers that have just finished, and the smell of them makes me feel disgusted, and sorry for them.

I have tried to convert ALL of my friends, by GIVING them kits and juice, but to no avail. 2 of them I have told can not come into my house, or ride in my car smelling like cigarettes. So we don't really hang out anymore. BUT, I have finally gotten my car, and my house smelling "normal". Now I just have to get the car professionally detailed, and steam cleaned to get all the tar/smoke residue out of it, and scrub and paint ALL of my walls in my house.

Devo....i too am on your timeline, my last analog was Friday, 8/27 at 6:30 p.m., yes I marked it on my calendar...after 40 freaking stinking, cough filled, cold filled, no smell, no taste filled years, I can hardly believe that I do not even THINK about them anymore....i JUST found out about these E-"wonder" Cigs last Tuesday....where the HECK have I BEEN??? LOL...and ordered right away....

I'm amazed at the smell when my hubby comes in from outside having his smoke and I'm vaping it up inside, that I am TRYING so hard to convert him, but to no avail...he is a skeptic....and I'm surprised that he hasn't realized that his wife, the one with NO will power, the one that gets OBSESSED with new things (but sometimes drops anything worth no obsession like a hot potatoe)has STUCK to this and feels soo much better in just a few days....

I'm not eating to cover my craving, I don't have a craving, I can't STAND the smell of my car and will tend to that this afternoon.....

I am starting to get my smell and taste back little by little...can't WAIT until the detox time is done....I do notice subtle changes, my eyesight, my BREATHING, my attitude(I feel soo much more calm now...believe it or not, use to by a little on the hyper side, now, just kinda 'whateva' now..LOL)

So BRAVO ZULU! to you...I think your gonna like it.....and check out Ms. T's Bakery....ooooh, haven't ordered yet, that is my TREAT to myself once I make my ONE MONTH time! HEE HEE...hey a girls' GOTTA treat herself right? LOL...

Good news to all on "kicking" analogs - I am working on 5+ weeks and over the craving even after a few drinks. My biggest issue not is the smell! My wife has not been able to quit, but I am working on that, however, the initial smell when someone lights one, is sickening to me right now. However, I did use for 20+ years, so not going to cast stones.

Good Luck Devoe2485! I am familiar with the E-Cig you are using. Send me a PM and maybe I can make a better suggestion. If you are not getting good throat hits and great vapor you may consider trying something different. There are some really good E-Cigs out there. So don't settle for less than "GREAT" I havn't had a Tabacco Cig. in 6 months!! Good luck to you!!

Congratulations hgfloyd. New PV since January 2010. My partner doesnt share my enthusiasm with the E-Cigs. I agree when he goes out to smoke and comes back in, well it does make me nauseated also. I can't promise that's going to change. Is your wife not able to kick it with the E-Cig?? PM me and maybe I can offer up some ideas for her. Maybe she hasn't found the E-Cig that fits her needs. Good Luck to the both of you!;)

Hi Everybody!

I started using my Vapor King on 8/11 my birthday an I love it! I have only smoked one analog since and was sick to my stomach when i did. I really enjoy V4L's Wow carts, great hit. Currently vaping Vanilla..... I'm buying my boyfriend one next month and cant wait to see his reaction. I'm looking forward to many smokeless years ahead of me.

Stay Strong!
Stephanie
