I saw this mod and thought it was pretty stealth looking, I was curious to see if I could make one, so I did.

510 recessed connector, rear switch, 10440 protected battery, no solder and no wires.
The protected cells are 2mm longer so I put a spring in to accommodate non-protected

Mind you, I made only one, so don't ask the obvious...

Question.. In Pic #4, there are three parts, base, tube and atty...
Your ground is made by the brass button contacting the neg part on the battery (with the post) AND the shell (with the big round part) at the same time?

When you push the button the post slides up through the bushing and makes contact with the negative on the battery there for completing the circuit.
