I've been sitting back and reading with total envy at some of the mods posted here and I have to say well done to all of you.
I like. I presume, many others have been inspired by these mods and have ideas of my own that I would love to build but lack the tools to do so.
As an example I would like to offer the screwdriver clone, done by a few people now, (not forgeting credit to Trog for the origional concept) as a prime pitfall for many. The basics seem pretty much the same as any other mod until it comes to the bushing (still like yours best Cisco
) which I presume are precision made on a lathe.
All the "I's a wittling ma" in the world will not get the pro finish I desire so my point is (FINALLY)
Anyone willing to machine custom parts for others (at price that covers your time,material, and skill obviously) and allow this community to flourish at greater pace than your help and ideas have already done so far.
I would rather pay for a bushing to complete a mod I made myself than buy one from the many talented suppliers just for the "i made this myself" (well almost) buzz that comes with modding
Nerf has already put his money where his mouth is by supplying us with battery connectors and I'm sure there are others too.
Many people have obviously helped with their step by step guides on mods also and my respect goes to you all
