I've been doing this for about 3 weeks now. Got 6 flavors from Capella's, a few from Flavour Art, and a couple from Flavour West. To get enough flavor (for me) I had to go up towards 20% with Capella's and never did get enough flavor from FA, and FW seemed to need long steep times. But today I got some flavors from vaping Zone. All I can say is WOW! These are the super concentrated alcohol, blackberry, pear and apricot. (also caramel mocha). They suggest starting at 2.5% so thats what I did. Great flavor, strong flavor and only steeped in warm water for a few hours. Best juice I've made so far. Caramel mocha at 2.5 was even a little too strong. Pear I went up to 3% and really is nice. What a joy to have success right off the bat. I'm sure the other juices can be made to be steller, but for me, as a beginner, vaping Zone really did the trick. Why can't I taste the flavor? Did I use too much or too little? Does it need to steep more? With vaping Zone these questions seemed to just go away. So.. as a total newbie my first suggestion to other beginners is to try Vaping Zone SC. I sure do value all the great information on this forum. Thanks folks,
Jim

VZ has some good stuff for sure! The SC's and Gourmet line are probably the easiest flavorings to work with on the market.

As for your past failures, I've personally never met a Capella or Flavor West that needed more than 12%. I mix most of those at 6-10% standalone and they each have a few flavors that I can't live without. Welcome to the wacky world of DIY, where sometimes when you add too much of a flavoring, the flavor actually diminishes. It happens. :D
