I would have been a non smoker 1 year this coming May. Last week had a very difficult week and some bad news that came my way. The first thing I thought of was a cig. I was already out and was just getting ready to pass a gas station so I just pulled in and got a pack. It was like I never quit smoking, still basically chained smoked. I smoked for 4 days and quick again on March 7th. I can tell that just in those 4 days my breathing was horrible, I had to use my inhaler for the first time since I quit smoking and I just felt plain crudy! But I am glad for all of the yuckiness because I knew that I had to get back to vaping, not only had to but wanted to. Everyone hits bumps in the road and this was a big one for me. It was harder to stop this time then the first time and that was after 17 years. But I am back and feeling better everyday. I know had it not been for V4L I would have never stopped in the first place and would have certainly not stopped again when I slipped. Thanks guys! :vapor:
I am gonna start my recount over, so here goes :)

Right there with ya, Brooke! I know just how you feel. I just went through the same thing, and had all the physical symptoms start up again, after only a couple of analogs a day. And the cravings are harder to kick now than before. But think of all the thousands we didn't pollute our bodies with! And don't beat yourself up.

Hang tough, we'll get through this. Keep on vaping!

They say the measure of a person is how they handle a setback. Well, congrats to you Brooke as you had a smoking setback but jumped right back on the wagon rather than give up completely. That's something to be proud of. That's something to be really proud of.

Don't set your counter to zero and don't feel guilty about it. You're a winner and you just proved it.

Nothing wrond with getting a little angry as long as you channel it right back into staying tobacco free. Do forgive yourself, we aren't ma chines, and tobacco is an evil beast with a strong pull, always there to rear it's ugly head when we might be feeling a little weak. You are back... that's all that matters now. Yesterday is gone...

OK, ya fell off the wagon. Hugs to you for your bad news. Add the four days to your counter. You still have all the days you vaped! Now you know not to do that again. Get some higher nic for those times. You've admitted your mistake to yourself and quit smoking and that's what counts. Climb into a bubble bath with a glass of something tasty, vape & relax - You're going to be OK.
